Disney UK Booking Ref ?????

With sincere apologies, I have edited my earlier post on this page. I had the Disney UK number as 0871 and not 0870. A typo that has possibly caused more than one person plenty of frustration :headache: Please accept my apologies

23rd Jan for us this time (day after my Birthday)
Thats if I ever book :rotfl:

I reckon there is more chance of Mart buying a round of drinks, than you not booking :rotfl2:

No problem.......if that's the only glitch that we encounter on the next visit....I will be happy :goodvibes

Calling Disney UK...I spoke to a lady named Aretha, who said that with the new booking system, the US would automatically release them approx 1 month out from 180 date unless especially requested by UK. She put me on hold and called US. She came back and said they would process it now, but since it would take around 30 mins, Disney US would call return the call to my mobile.
30 minutes later, I got the call and more importantly my 12 digit "ACCOVIA" number
First ADR booking date for me is 12th Feb 2012 :yay::yay::yay:

12 Feb is my ADR date too! I'm just glad it's a Sunday so I don't have work and can get the bookings done in peace!

Now that's not fair, he bought us a drink this year.... and 6 straws. :rotfl2:
I even got a pic of the one he bought Matt to remind me, well I might never see him buy another. :lmao:

See post #38 on previous page.:thumbsup2

Thank u Wayne, I have had a go but it won't let me in as the arrival date only goes up to may as post 38 mentions, will I have to wait another 5 months before I can view my booking??? :confused3

Cheers,

I havn't booked yet, should be this weekend then I will have a res number to see what I can do (or can't)

Brill thank you, just a bit concerned that when I made the booking I forgot my daughter had 2 birthdays in-between going, so she will be 17 not 16 as I originally put on the booking, I have spoke to 2 people at C/O and they said there would be no problem. When I tried to do a dummy booking with my daughter aged as 17 it says "the person is too old for this room"! I don't want to spend a fortune on flights and then turn up at the Disney hotel to be told she s too old (I booked SS again with the free DDP)

You can book upto 4 adults in a studio, US site used to add a surcharge for more than 2 adults, not sure if they still do but UK sites it doesn't matter if its 2 adult & 2 children or 4 adults. I wouldn't worry about it, our son will have his 18th Bday while we are there next year.

Even if they did make add a surcharge, it is not like the airlines. The applicable age is the age on the date of arrival. Same goes for park tickets :goodvibes

I can't get my 12 digit number to work with dining reservations.

If I go to the American site it recognises my booking, with dining plan, (I have to select "booked with a travel agent" option) however on the dining reservation page when I put my number in it says it's not recognised.

I'm going in Feb, so it's not a time problem.
Any ideas?
The weird thing is that my booking number won't even pull up my reservation on the UK site. I'm getting confused about which site I'm actually visiting.

Can I just check I've got this straight.

I've booked with complete orlando for Oct 2012. Got my 12 digit numerical reservation number off them (it was on the invoice)

WDW website wont call up my reservation but that's ok.

Come reservation time the system will accept my number and let me do 180+10.

Thanks

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page on the left is a box where you can select your region. It will display the region you are currently in.

If you are on the UK site, you HAVE TO USE your UK reservation number, NOT the 12 digit one to call up your reservation. On the US site you will use the US one.

The dining system will not recognise or even allow you to enter your number into the system yet as you have to select your check in date to validate it and this will only be available 180 days out from check in, so there is nothing to worry about that. The number will work when it is programmed to work. We have these threads on here on a regular basis because it IS confusing and it does change from time to time. What we have never had is anyone coming on and saying that their 12 digit or any other US/ADR reference number provided for this purpose, has not been recognised. It will work. Focus your energy on some food porn :rotfl:and picking where you want to eat. :goodvibes

But that's the point, I'm going in Feb, which is less than 180 days away and the 12 digit number doesn't work on the US site for the dining.

What we have never had is anyone coming on and saying that their 12 digit or any other US/ADR reference number provided for this purpose, has not been recognised

So I guess this makes me the first!!!!

Sorry, thought your ADRs were up in Feb. Have you double checked that you have typed in the correct number and that you haven't transposed any digits? What message are you getting when you type in your number? And have you checked that you have your check in date correct?

The number is correct as I have copy and pasted from my reservations.

"We were unable to confirm your resort reservation. Please check the details of your reservation and try again, or call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463."

I have tried to call this, but got nowhere. The first person I spoke to confirmed that I have a reservation, and passed me to tech support, but it was the wrong tech support apparently so they put me back to the switchboard, at which point I hung up. :(

Hmm, it's been a heck of a week this week for me so forgive me if I am not awake and missing something (which is VERY possible), but if you are in your 180 day window already, as you will be if you are going in February, you don't need the US reservation number at all. The point of having this is to reserve the first 10 days of ADRs on the first (180th) day. :confused3 So are you unable to make reservations for dining or are you trying to call up your resort reservation? Sorry, little confused here

Edit to add: If it is just your resort reservation you want to retrieve, they cannot do this by phone on the US line. You have to go through the UK line and use your UK reservation number. As for the ADRs, again, I suggest that you go ahead and book them. You can do this without the number at this late stage. Hope you get all the places you are hoping for!
