hi:

finally, finally, finally!!!!!!!!!:goodvibes I already booked my trip for may 28-june 3 and need a little advice here for instance the weather which I supposed is very hot, ( no problem at all I come from an island, Puerto Rico) but how about the clothing and the shoes for walking like crazy? I've read here that crocs are the best. Also I have a concern about the tickets being bought from a ticket broker like undercover tourist or mapleleaf, can I count on getting my tickets without any trouble, are they completely valid? how about the tickets at universal site? I heard there's not too much of a difference between the prices at the gates and the online prices for the myw package, is it true? Thank you for your help and any additional info that the disney lovers want to share with me would be appreciate it. :yay:

We live in Canada and we ordered our tickets through MapleLeaf. When the tickets came we were missing 2. But I called and they knew right away they had made a mistake and the tickets were on their way. I was expecting a hassle, but there was none. We also ordered our Universal tickets through Universal's web site with no problem. We got certificates that we printed at home and took to the gates and again no problem. We ordered through their site because they were offering 5 days for the price of 1. A deal you couldn't get at the gate.

We have used MapleLeaf a few times and have always been pleased with the service, they issue actual tickets at discounted prices - never had any problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

You will always get them slightly cheaper here than you would at Disney/Universal.

Weather late May and early June, just hotting up for the summer, probably average temps. in the mid to high 80s.
It is a fair bit hotter in July and August though.

Cannot advise on Crocs, but loose comfortable clothing will be required, not the place for breaking in a new pair
of shoes.

When we've gone end of May/June...it's been well over 90 during the daytime just about every day.

I recommend a really good pair of gym shoes (like running shoes). I also wear special moisture wicking clothing (same stuff I use for sailboat racing)....it's high tech fabric stuff (unlike cotton)....that wicks the moisture away from your body and dries quickly. Cotton tends to get wet and clingy and just hang on you like a wet rag. I even have socks and such that are like this (Underarmour brand stuff is great!).

I have these Columbia brand pants with cargo pockets on the side...they're a light beige color and very light weight...and high tech also (jeans are the worst!). These have the zip off shorts legs...which are just awesome. During the day you are wearing shorts basically, but at night time when it tends to get a lot cooler, you can zip the legs part back on very easily and be warm, very very functional clothing! (Again, something I took from sailing!).

Here's a link to what I'm talking about...simply awesome, love them so much I keep buying more pairs! Work great for sports like golf too, where it might be fairly cold in the morning, but my mid-late morning it's hot...and you can "zip" and be in shorts in 2 seconds without having to find a tree to hide behind and change! LOL

Also, since I'm a guy and 40...hehe...a hat is critical to keep the top of my head from getting fried...along with lots of sunblock and lip sunblock.
