Do you have a Disney themed room in your house??? I haven't yet, but would love to, one day when I get more space...

My only bathroom is currently Finding Nemo, but will be changed to to red and yellow mickey Mouse, my bedroom is purple stenciled Mickey heads and one of the bedrooms was High School Musical (red white and blue) but is in the middle of being changed into sports, the other bedroom is Pirates of the Carribbean.

We're going to be renovating the house in the spring. I plan on decorating the office and kids' bathroom with Disney themes. That's about as far as DH will let me go, I think. :goodvibes

LOL I feel like my whole house is Disney themed. We are collecting the Thomas Kinkade Disney paintings & I've said no more until we get a bigger house!

My powder room has a "it's a small world" theme. I have three larger Mary Blair prints framed and hanging on the wall. I also bought a set of Mary Blair IASW postcards at WDW and framed them in assorted red, green, and black frames. They are lined up along a ledge made out of shelves from IKEA. I plan to put the small world lyrics around the perimeter, like a border. Not sure if I will get decals for that or paint wooden letters from Michaels and hang them somehow.

Our formal living room is Disney themed but subtle. We have several of the 3 foot character statues and all the pics on the walls are of Disney vacations and the Disney maps. All are in matching black frames so they don't jump out at being Disney. We also have a standing shelf thingy that had other Disney memorabilia on it. And the pillows on the couch are all Disney. This is also the room the Disney themed Christmas tree is set up in over the holidays.

Not really, though our Bonus room has five large Disney (park) posters on the walls.

It gets expensive quickly because it's so easy to add to the collection. I've got enough stuff to decorate a whole house in Mickey and Disney stuff. Including themed holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

OOOH!!! are these the maps that you can get on the website or are they bigger??? I want a map of the entire complex, similar to my world and US maps. I just can't seem to find one. I am thinking they are about 3'x5'.

When we built our house we added a reading room that has an L shaped run of custom curios for our wdcc. It's 15 feet long then a corner which connect to another 10 foot run. I custom designed them and my buddy did the construction cause he was my cabinet guy for the rest of the house. I made them 22 deep inside vs the store 18 inch. I also used 5/8 thick glass shelves for weight. We also ran low volt lights down each side of each individual cabinet to light evenly on each shelf vs just from the top. The cherry used and door/crown matches the ret of the first floor. The doors are so large we used refrigerator handles that u would use on a refrig that has custom wood panels on them cause the doors we so large. That room also has one wall of some Disney art. It took 2 years to build them out properly but it's awesome now that it's done. We also have various Daren Wilson and David willardsons around the house with a mike kupka here and there.

My younger son's room is Mickey-themed: 3 white walls, 1 red wall, and one of the white walls has black Mickey heads all over it (I made stencils in various sizes). He has a large Mickey poster on one wall, black curtains and a red Mickey-head fabric cornice board above the window.

My sons' bathroom is Mickey-themed: gray walls (actually, the Sherwin Williams color is "Monorail Silver"), a Mickey shower curtain, Mickey adhesive sticker on one wall. Red, black and white towels. A Mickey rug and other accessories.

The eat-in part of my kitchen is a bright Mickey red above the chair-rail and white bead-board below. I have a buffet hutch on one wall that has a lot of my Mickey kitchen accessories (bowls, tray, canisters, trivet). There are 2 framed pictures of Disney sunsets that I took on either side of the French doors that lead to our back porch. There's a small "hidden Mickey" sticker in one corner. :) And a hanging spinner in one corner that is the Castle on top and Mickey on the bottom.

The rest of my kitchen has the Monorail Silver walls and the accessories are Mickey or red. Mickey kitchen towels, red and black utensils in a jar by the stove.

There's probably not any room in my house, except maybe the guest half-bath and guest bedroom, that doesn't have some Mickey or Disney accessory. My dining room has Mickey salt-and-pepper shakers. My formal living room has a Mickey figurine on the piano. My bedroom has a framed Thomas Kinkade puzzle of Cinderella Castle by my side of the bed. My older son has a Mickey clock and tons of Pooh characters. My living room has family photos from Disney and mouse ear hats on top of the armoire.

Our main bathroom is "Mickey at the Beach" theme, and our playroom is a combination of "Pirates" & "Peter Pan."

And then we've got some other Disney things here & there in our family room - a "Jungle Book" lamp, a Mickey Head zebra print frame, an Animal Kingdom print, etc.
