Love this thread! I have 11 (quite big) tattoos, but none disney yet, i'm trying to work out something unique to get and then i'll be posting straight here!

I'm going for more colouring on my Little Mermaid sleeve this Saturday! It's going to be a while before it's done, but I can't wait!

Just a side note to anyone who may come across this thread. If you are thinking about getting a large tattoo of any kind and are planning an Asian "Disney" trip be aware of some cultural taboos.

My wife and I are planning a Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai Disney trip in 2016. Just searching the TheDis Boards about trips and planning I came across the below link talking about the taboo regarding large tattoos. Sounds like there are many places that will not allow you in public pools and spas if you have large noticeable tattoos. Just something to think about if planning a trip and are heavily inked. I'll be wearing long pants for my trip and may be skipping the pools.

Had some more work down on my Little Mermaid Sleeve. Saturday's session was 6.5 hours. Would have kept going but I had family visiting and I really wanted to spend time with them.

We got Jetsam, Sebastian, and Ariel's tail and fin done. The artist also went in and touched up a few things from last time.

Got my Sorcerer Mickey finally.

This has been one that I have always wanted and have had a design in my head for about 10 years, the last 4 years have been wondering if I should really do it, and then 2 weeks ago (the day before my DS wedding) I decided to go for it. Almost 3 hours in the chair, and I feel it is worth every minute.

The design started as a simple Sorcerer Mickey, and as the artist and I spoke it grew with added pieces, he added the mountain top, the shading around Mickey, and unbeknowst known to me he also added the white border around Mickey, which makes him pop out more. The face colours are a little off, as this is the "just finished" tattoo.

I saw Fantasia with my mother every year it came to the movie theatre (from the early '60's into the 70’s), she loved the movie, and through osmosis I came to love it as well.

The stars each represent a family vacation to DL or WDW. Red for DL and Blue for WDW. The yellow star on top of the wand is for our honeymoon in WDW in 1986. The uncoloured blank star is for an upcoming visit with the DS and our new DDIL.

Ahh! I love this thread! I currently have a tiny Jack Skellington head on my wrist and the beginnings of a Sleeping Beauty chest piece so far. I hope I can work on the chest piece a bit more before my next trip.

I have wanted a Mickey tattoo for a while just couldn't decide which one. Definitely Sorcerer Mickey is my very favorite of all of his outfits. I have him all over my house, so it had to be Sorcerer Mickey.

My husband and I had a great weekend staycation, July 19 we ended up at the Hard Rock and walked around outside, There was an Elvis imperonator doing a set. He was ending but would be back in a half hour said he would be singing my favorite Elvis song, I did't want to leave so my husband said you could always go in here and get a tattoo, SO I DID. was very nervous, not sure what picture I really wanted, we did a search and I liked this one the best so for the next hour I was in the chair getting my very first tattoo. I am so in love with my tattoo, I am always saying hey you haven't seen my tattoo for a while take a look at it. I am driving my family crazy. But I can say it is money well spent.

I have a half sleeve on eacj arm and right leg... no Disney though all have significant meaning to me and that what counts.
