Disney Tattoos

I  this thread!
I've been following it for ages, and DH and I have been working on what we want for our tattoos.
We got married last year at Disney World and have decided for our one year anniversary to mark the occation with our first tattoos.
I will be getting the Cinderella pumpkin carriage with pixie dust on the inside of my left ankle and hubby is getting the dragon pin design where it curls into the shape of Mickey's head on his right arm.
We are SUPER excited to go tomorrow afternoon. I will post pictures hopefully tomorrow, (if I can figure out how to do it - LOL!).
Wish us luck :goodvibes

I am really hoping this worked, I watched the tutorial on how to post pictures.

Nice Tat. I love the story behind it too!

DH thinks it's too subtle, but I disagree. I love it like this!

It looks great!!

Sounds awesome. GOOD LUCK! :cheer2:

Here are our tattoos freshly inked!
You can see the bandage marks on my ankle - LOL!

I hope you can see the pictures.

Hmmm...I can't seem to get the photos to post. I placed them in photobucket and cut and pasted the URL link but it's not showing. Any advice? I've never posted pictures before.

You want the IMG code. click on the photo you want, then you should see "share" on top of the photo. click that and another window will pop up. click "get the code" then look for "IMG for bulletin boards & forums"

I hope this makes sense :confused3

Good luck!

The dragon is AWESOME!!! I don't even especially like dragons, and it got me thinking. ;) How big is it? Can't quite tell if that's a shoulder/upper arm.

Thanks Mikes:)mom.

2010_Bride, the dragon is awesome, and the carriage is very cute.

Thanks Mike's Mom for the posting help :thumbsup2

The dragon on DH is super detailed! He has it on his right upper arm just below his shoulder. It's a good size about 4 inches tall from the bottom of Mickey's head to the top of the highest ear. And about 5 inches across from ear to ear. It couldn't be any smaller in order to get all the scaling/teeth details in. The tattoo salon we went to specializes in fine detail and scripture work.

We can't wait till they heal and stop burning - LOL!

Well, they did a great job! Hope it's stopped burning by now! I've never had it burn the second day. Ouch! I'm in the itching-like-mad, ugly stage right now.

My first few tattoos were not so bad, but this like one I went through the itching-like-mad stage and it lasted so long!

Funny, I don't seem to remember it with the first tattoos, either, but the last couple have been horrendous!! I'm pretty sure I'll have scars around my tattoo from trying not to scratch the actual thing.

 I came up with some pretty interesting ways of trying to scratch-without-scratching.

Maybe they changed the ink?

:rotfl: I know what you mean. My last two tattoos were from different people than my first ones, maybe there is just a difference there. They both had me use Aquaphor, and I always used non-scented/colored lotion. Maybe I'm allergic to it. It's getting better, though. It usually takes me exactly two weeks to heal, so I've got a little longer, and I should be done with it. Fingers crossed!!
