Is it worth using the plus feature on our passes for a day at DQ? DS is 6 and I'm afraid there won't be enough for him to do and he'll just be frustrated.

If we had to pay out of pocket I we would not be going, but with a extra day and the plus feature I'm considering it.

There are height restrictions on a few of the experiences at DQ. I know my DD7 was not tall enough for a few of the experiences last year. I do remember she was not tall enough for the Buzz Lightyear game and really wanted to do it. You may want to check the height restrictions to help you make your decision.

He may not be able to do everything, but there will be plenty for him to do and there are things you can do as a family. For example in Create a Zone you can do animation, painting, record a song. Height requirement for Buzz - 51 inches, CyberSpace Mountain - 51, Mighty Ducks Pinball - 48. I don't think there is a height requirement for the Virtual Jungle Cruise which you can do as a family. Be warned, it's harder than it looks, but it's a blast.

I think a day would be pushing it. There is a section on the 4th floor for smaller kids; all the machines are "shorter".

You can eat at DQ for reasonable prices -- this will extend your day a bit. Be sure not to miss the cheesecake on the 4th floor.

There are booster steps here and there. Mostly "there" actually -- there aren't many.

I think he can do most of the "virtual" attractions. He can help you design the virtual coaster, and watch you ride (well, perhaps that's a bad thing).

I went to DQ with 4 boys ages 5, 8, 11, 13. They all thought it was ok, but not worth spending the $ for. If you have enough plusses, then you may want to go for a few hours. The only thing there that we loved was the Pirates of the Carribean.

There is ALWAYS plenty to do there. The river rafting he would love ... the arcade games, Aladdin's magic carpet ride ... there's tons. He'd love it. There might be one or two things that he can't do, but there's plenty to make up for it.

(i think it'd be really cool if they got a lazer tag in there...)
