Disney Princess Question

In June 2008 I was at DHS and got my picture with Belle, Pocahotas and Snow White all at the same time. It was not a special event, but just a normal day around 5:00. I do remember that they were not doing autographs, just photos. They were all definitely interacting/talking with each other because they were admiring the necklace that I was wearing. Sorry I do not have a photo to share, my camera was not working so I only have the photopass picture that I bought when I got home.

This was the type of Tink I've seen over in Pixie Hollow. Very innocent looking.

Now, where can I find that OTHER Tink?:confused3

Okay, here's the one I have of Cinderella and Aurora talking. This is at CRT in 2005. And my DD11 corroborates my thinking that they will talk about the others as their friends.

Interesting topic!

You will find a couple pictures of my daughter with more than one princess in my Flickr photostream linked in my signature.

:offtopic:but I have to ask...I went all through your photos...

How many dresses/costumes does your daughter own?
How often do you go to Disney?
How do you get such fantastic pics???

I mean poor snow white and the queen, Lady Tremaine, the red queen with the tweedles. How do you do it??? Once upon a time, when the characters roamed free (without set schedules and cm body guards) I used to have tons of interactions. Pluto pushed my grandmother's wheel chair for over a half hour one day in September 1998 and stayed with her while we rode the intense rides she couldn't ride, but that was then. Times have changed. :sad2:

This is an absolute rare occassion, but when we were asked to open Magic Kingdom on 1/29/10 we took a picture with all the characters that were attending the opening ceremony. So in the picture is Snow White and Princess Jasmine. I can remember that Snow White I think pointed out to Princess Jasmine that my sister's name was Jasmine but that was about all I remember..

I haven't seen them together or interacting, but we did have one of the princesses, (maybe Belle or Jasmine?) give my DD7 a "message" to give to another princess. I can't remember which two they were, or what the message was, but my DD was excited to pass the message to her. It was something like "if you see ____ tell her I said ____"

We ARE rather ..... shall we say.... Disney obsessed........

We live right smack dab in the middle of the country, about as far from either Disney as you can get.... :sad1: We go once or twice a year..... once for a week, and then typically stop by for a day in conjunction with our summer vacation.

I make the costumes. In fact I have a couple new ones already done for later this year. I've done Belle's green library dress and a green Ariel gown. I have several others still in mind that we've never done before. To be honest, it's quite a lot of fun to see the reaction from the CM's, who tend to see the same thing day in day out. My daughter's favorite so far has been Lady Tremaine.

Getting the photo op is the REALLY creative part. It starts with much research right here on the Disboards. I carry a big tote bag and bring a few each day knowing who we are likely to encounter. Really.... not much with the characters is very random any more. I had a pretty good idea we'd have a shot at seeing the Queen from Snow White in the animation building at DHS at 5. Thanks to all the regulars here who report on character sightings, I can make an informed guess on where to find them.

It's quite a game for my daughter and me. We love finding them, then scrapbooking the photos when we get home. Additionally, we've gotten to enjoy the extra bits of pixiedust the costumes have brought our way. :wizard:

Just go to youtube and type in Cinderella, Snow White and so on...there are many videos of them all together.

Hey everyone,

I'm taking a "Deconstructing Disney" class in college and I had a quick question. My professor said that the Disney princesses never have any interaction so that their story lines don't cross. She gave the example that the princesses never talk to each other and they are rarely seen together. I asked about the princess breakfast and several people in my class said the princesses never pose together for a picture. Does anyone have any evidence to the contrary? I thought for sure I had seen a picture of at least two if not all the princesses together. If you have any examples of more than one princess posing together in a shot (not just roaming, I don't think that will count), will you post? And if you have any pictures of princesses talking to one another, please post that. Thanks so much for your help! princess:

The princess do talk to each other and constantly talk about "My friend Belle" Or" My friend Aurora". As a Character attendant I can't count how many times I have heard a princess ask a little girl if she was in 'her friends _____ closet" Ariel loves to talk about how her friend Belle loves to read and has lend her many books. How her friend Cinderella is always loosing a shoe etc, etc. Name any two princess and I have heard her them talking about "her friend..."

There are many reasons why the princess don't stand toguether but it's not because we don't want to mix the story lines. However,it's not unheard off. In fact I've seen and taken many pictures where they have stood toguether. Last year we had Aurora and Snow White stand toguether because we had nobody to attend to Aurora. Someone in this forum has a picture where all the Princess stand toguether when they welcome Tiana to the Disney Princess brand. It's on their signature so if someone remembers who it is please post it.

Characters that don't stand toguether are the ones that have a story line that do not cross paths in any way. For example: Pooh characters and Jungle book characters. However Pooh can stand toguether with Rabbit and it's quite alright. He can't however stand toguether with Baloo or with Meeko from Pocahontas. I hope I'm explaining that well.

I don't mean to be rude and please accept my apologies if it sounds that way. It's quite surprising to me that a professor is teaching a class of 'deconstructing' Disney and has a simple fact so wrong. It makes me wonder what else is he getting wrong in that class and still teaching it. More disconcerting is the fact that you all are paying for it. Again my apologies if I was rude but I just find that so wrong.

I just have one question...

Has your professor ever actually been to WDW??? :rotfl2:

I'm not sure where the professor received his information, but I have seen the princesses talk together on several occasions. On our last trip we were lucky to have the princesses in Toontown all to ourselves for a couple minutes. Everyone was in the fairy line! LOL It was their idea to do a group photo.

This probably doesn't count for what you are talking about specifically but I think it's cute.. Last year I made an autograph book for DD3. I used clipart on the bottom of the pages. Well, somehow I missed having one for Fawn. Fawn was flipping through to a blank page I had included and she accidentally tore one of the pages. She realized it was Wendy and said something about it not being an issue because Wendy was mean to Tink. Something along those lines. I thought it was pretty funny. :lmao:
Good luck in your hunt. Wish I had something to help. We were thinking that Belle, Aurora and Cinderella talked while we were in the princess meet n greet. But we don't have any pics. I do agree with pp that they refer to each other as their friends. :grouphug:

Also a quick look on the Theme Parks Community board, in a photo thread, has a bunch of pics of different characters posing together. For example, this post has a photo of both multiple princesses and another of multiple villains posing together.

mom2rtk, WOW. Your dresses are absolutely incredible! I think the Belle dress that your daughter is wearing is at least as good if not better than the one on the real Belle! :lovestruc

I'm jealous. I can't do anything like that! :lmao:

I LOVE your daughter's outfits!!!! I WISH I was that talented!!

Do you sew on etsy or anything? I don't know if I can ask that on here, so I can PM you if I have to. I'm very interested in some of your costumes patterns! You're so creative!

Many thanks to both of you! :goodvibes We're both big Belle fans, so I had a lot of fun putting that one together. It was the most technically challenging one I've done yet.

Some of my costumes are from patterns, some are my own concoction. I think after this next trip, I'll be out of new ideas. I usually do a new one of each headline princess for each trip, but don't like to repeat the others. And since they are full length gowns and she is a growing girl, they are always too short when we go back the following year.

lol! After seeing that pic of tink, my mind went elsewhere, because I read the following post that stated, "We asked Belle where her beast was"....as where her breast was :rotfl:
