This is our first trip in several years and we are bringing our granddaughter for her first trip. I’m trying to find out what is different since Covid, as far as character interactions are concerned and things that are closed. We are planning for late September. Any help would be appreciated. I will also have to post in the dining forum because I’d like to know if character meals are back yet. Thanks!

You're going to watch what changes between now and your trip. With the covid stuff, things (like masks) may come or go.

You'll want to to read-up on making park reservations because those will be required to enter.

Character meet and greets are now restricted to "Character sightings" for the time being, where you can see them and stand I believe 6ish feet away and take a picture? No hugs, no signing autographs.

Most everything else has returned to normal - some character dining venues haven' reopened - like Crystal Palace breakfast. The one's that are around still are distanced characters as well. 1900 Park Faire is still closed. Stitch and Lilo haven't returned to Ohana breakfast. Cape May recently returned to a breakfast buffet but I'm not positive Characters have returned - I think they're still absent. Trattoria Al Forno has yet to return to the Bon Voyage breakfast.
