Beautiful shot, Joe. That one takes me back to my first visits, in '74 and '75, when I was young and had hair.

Cool shot! Can you believe that even though I've been to the MK three times, I've never been to this part of the park? I'm still trying to figure out just exactly how that has happened.

Guess what's on my "to do" list for our next trip?

P.S. I kinda do agree with out about having the castle being the focal point of the parks. BUT... on the other hand... my sisters & I would always try to be the first to see the Matterhorn from the freeway before we exited. It was a big deal. And just exactly what did we win? Bragging rites for the next two years before our next DL trip!

This is my place to get my Disney fix! You guys take great pictures! I have many favorite spots, but I haven't been to MK until I stand here!

And, not to belabor the point, but there is no reason at all for anyone with a digital camera NOT to take advantage of available editing tools. At this point in time, the editing software I use is Picasa2, which is a free download, and very easy to use. It won't do everything, but it will do a lot, including straightening, cropping, "auto-contrast" (which I use on practically EVERY shot, and makes a HUGE difference, almost every time), and other effects, as well. My only real complaint is that the sharpening function is not adjustable...you either sharpen or you don't.

Well, I guess my secret is out now, although I'm sure I fooled no one. Fortunately, at WDW, even w/o much skill, one can get nice pictures. Hey, I'm living proof of that. I have long maintained that one can stand in any spot in any of the parks, look in any direction, and there is a photo just begging to be taken. Disney does such a great job of "decorating"...it's really a photographer's paradise.

Seriously, I appreciate the compliment, and am thrilled to be going back again next month.

I've uesd Picasa since before it was Picasa2. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! It is a miracle worker and has helped my photos amazingly, BUT, it is not the reason YEKCIM has such beautiful pictures! You are an artist and have an eye for what will be great, you use the tool to help us see more clearly what your eye captured!

But, for the rest of us, Picasa2 is great, free, and allows for lots of practice so we can improve and try to impress the greats on this board!
