POTD...

°O°Joe;19201964 said:Thanks Evad! DLR was great... Mostly what I expected, although I was a little surprised by California Adventure, I wasn't quite sure what to expect of it. Other than that, the castle being embarrassingly small and the fact that you could throw a stone to one of the busiest interstates in the country, yeah, it was pretty much as I expected.
I plan on writing a brief comparison of WDW and DLR so stay tuned...

Another great one Ed. Like I said before, I love the color in your shots. Please keep them coming!!!![]()
In the process, I'm learning that my "crop" tool is an often overlooked tool that I should be using a lot more. Many of my recent POTD's are shots that I felt were really just so-so, but with a little different crop, looked much better. I mention that only as an aside, in the event that it may help someone else to "rescue" an otherwise bland shot. Straightening is something else that has "rescued" a bunch of my otherwise crooked and unusable shots.
Thanks Joe Looking foward to your report!! Are you going to post any DLR pics here??
Oh, but it's just the right size! Nice and intimate. Cinderella's castle is just so, so ... well, big. Disclaimer: This statement is coming from a very biased Sleeping Beauty Castle Lover!![]()
Glad you enjoyed your trip, Joe!

If anybody out there *doesn't* know how to do these basics, go learn now, it's so easy to learn and it makes a huge difference on how some pics turn out in the end. Kind of cheating I know, but the end result is worth it.
