Disney not the only company doing hotel->timeshare conversions

I just stayed at this resort this summer. It was massive! There was a train running around the resort. Reminded me of Disney when I was there.
We spent two weeks last summer in Hawaii, one in a 3BR Penthouse at Hilton Hawaiian Village's Lagoon Tower in Waikiki, and one in a 2BR at Kings Land, part of the Hilton Waikoloa complex. Kings Land includes pool hopping privileges at the Hilton Waikoloa resort, and we had the same reaction: it was Disneyesque.

We're going back to HWV in summer '18. We are blocked from Kings Land via RCI's 1-in-4 restriction, but are staying in a 2BR at Kohala Suites, which also has pool hopping privileges at the main resort. I just confirmed the exchange earlier today.

I don't think Universal has any timeshare properties. There are a few others in that general area. We stayed at HGVC Sea World several years ago, and it was quite convenient to the Universal resort area via Turkey Lake road.

If you haven't already done it yet, I thought the nighttime snorkel with the manta rays was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.
