And it's hard to say what lesson Disney should learn from the COVID time. It could mean people will accept a lesser experience, it could also just have been that people were willing to take what they could get when so much was closed or didn't feel safe to them. In a couple more months, that may not be the case and Disney may see a big drop-off.This is part of the problem with how many people went during COVID. Disney learned what we were willing to forgo to simply be "in the magic." People came.
The question is, once restrictions are lifted, are people still going to accept a "lesser" experience?
I'm watching things closely for my December trip.
Things are going to be weird for tourism over the next couple of months. Huge pent up demand will keep things crowded all over for a while, but how long will it last? I know at my work it's already been remarked about how many people are taking multi-week vacations instead of the usual week here or there (I'm one of them!).
