One of my main problems with mobile ordering is (in many cases) the lack of the customization that I want. They have a few choices, but not what I'm looking for.

This…. I don’t like the texture of the avocado Disney likes to add to their impossible burgers which seem to be a go to quick serve plant based option

I would want to order the Reuben without sauerkraut or the plain bagel breakfast sandwich without onions and maybe sub sausage for bacon, so I feel you. I just prefer when I can do it in the app cause I feel like a pita when I ask for too many changes in person.

Oh I do too!!! But I like what I like and won’t eat it otherwise, so it’s either be a PITA or starve

The elements of a Jersey Mike's sub are pretty much how subs are made around New Jersey (I'm assuming in NY too), but Jersey Mike's is always a "hit or miss" for me. The location in my town (in NJ, not far from the original) makes pretty awful subs, yet the one I lived near in SC did a good job.

I was actually friends with the owner's son all through high school and the original Point Pleasant one was my go-to before I moved out to California. A lot of my old friends all work for the company now, it's a very proud company. They take quality very seriously, so if there are issues with your local one and you let them know (in a nice way), they will actually work to improve whatever issues there might be. It is a franchise, but they do want all of them to be top notch!

2023 Disneyland Packages Go On Sale This Week​

2023 Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages will be available to book THIS WEEK beginning on August 17, 2022. Disney announced today that resort and ticket packages will be available for the entirety of 2023 – That’s 1/1/23 – 12/31/23.

Disney Skyliner Refurbishment Announced​

Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel along the Skyliner in late January will want to keep reading about an upcoming refurbishment. Walt Disney World has just announced that all lines of the Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance Jan. 22-29, 2023. Disney is conducting routine maintenance in order to maintain the highest quality standards.

During this time Bus transportation will be available at all Disney Skyliner Resorts throughout the planned closure so Guests can reach their desired destinations across Walt Disney World.

This is similar to the refurbishment that was scheduled for earlier this year (January 23rd, 2022 through January 28th, 2022). However, for 2023 it will be across ALL lines whereas the 2022 refurbishment was just on the line between Disney’s Caribbean Beach and EPCOT.

Then it was time for a classic sandwich you may have had many times at many other places — the Italian Sub. This is priced at $11.49 and features Capicola, Soppressata, Pepperoni, Provolone, Arugula, Tomato, Arugula Pesto, and Mayonnaise on Ciabatta, served with your choice of Side.



Again, Disney did NOT skimp on the meat here, which was great! We really enjoyed each of the different meat options included in the sandwich. They all provided a great flavor to the sandwich as a whole.

It is very much your traditional Italian sub*, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if an Italian sub is just what you’re craving.
There was a pretty good amount of pesto on the sandwich, but we would have preferred a touch more.

This type of sandwich has always been American! We're the only ones foolish enough to say, "Well, I know a sandwich is usually between two slices of bread. But, like, what if we just cut the loaf in half and made a whole loaf sandwich????"
