Updates to Disney Cruise Line Navigator App

Starting on July 7 2022, an update was made to the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for Apple iOS users booked on sailings aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Guests will now be able to explore ship locations and activities, in more detail, from home on the app. Note: This feature will be added for the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Wish and Android devices, in the near future.

The ‘Explore’ tab is tailored to be specific to the ship that the Guest is sailing on, based on the reservation that is linked to their account. Guests will be able to learn more about locations and activities on the ship for their sailing.

Codenamed “Project Moonlight”, the show will supposedly be named “Wondrous.” This fits the current naming convention with Harmonious at EPCOT and Momentous at Hong Kong Disneyland.

The Walt Disney Company began as Disney Brothers Studio in 1923, and over a century evolved into the media conglomerate we know today. The “Wondrous” nighttime spectacular will reportedly focus on 100 years of Disney animation to celebrate the medium which gave the studio its humble start. Carnotaurus Joins Disco Yeti as Broken Flagship Animatronic at DINOSAUR in Animal Kingdom

The Carnotaurus currently has netting over its head area as the head appears to be nearly detached or broken. In our video below, you can see the Carnotaurus broken down near the attraction’s finale before the Iguanodon comes to our rescue. The animatronic figure is the one that demands guests’ attention as the on-ride photo is taken. Right now, a head on a stick to the left of the ride vehicle is utilized as a B-Mode alternative.

Here are a few stills from our video that show the head behind camouflage netting and considerably out of alignment with the torso.

This is so sad. Disney really shouldn't be letting their attractions remain in such poor condition. I get why they won't fix the yeti but this and Indiana Jones in Disneyland being in the state they are in is just disheartening.

Also the article didn't post the video they were refering to but I found it on Youtube. The other 2 Carnotaurus's seem to be having issues too. The first one doesn't move its mouth and the second one kind of wiggles around and doesn't chase your ride vehicle.

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights Updated with New Casey Jr. Drum Float

Last week, 20 years and one month after its debut on June 1, 2001, Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights retired its final float from the original 2001 lineup. The Casey Junior float hauling the parade’s title drum, a fixture of the Main Street Electrical Parade since 1972, was replaced by an all-new LED version with an updated look. Luckily we were able to visit and get a look at this change.

Don't mean to start Sunday off on a negative note but does anyone else feel kind of disappointed that for the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, the Magic Kingdom seems to have the most lackluster celebration? Throughout the celebration so far we've seen so much great stuff in other parks around the world. New attractions, electrical parades and spectacular firework shows. Magic Kingdom however has really only received a downgraded firework show that doesn't even celebrate Disney history. Something just really feels off for a celebration at the park that started it all at Disney World.

Thor Hammers the Competition at Weekend Box Office

Despite not being as much of a hit with the critics as other Marvel films, Thor: Love and Thunder is still having a divine run at the box office delivering another $100M+ opening for Disney/Marvel. The overall weekend ticket sales for the film are estimated to be around $244 million.
I liked it better than I thought I would from seeing the commercials.
Did anyone see the second end of credit scene?

Edited - took out what might have been a spoiler.
