Yippee! 6 months feels so much closer than 7 months to me :) Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my first Disney cruise. One year seems entirely too long between cruises!

Ok, the participants of the Cabin Crawl are starting to come in, so I'll maintain a list.

So far we have:

Deck 2
cat 9C - Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms (connecting) - cabin #'s 2140 & 2138 (lifeafterkids)

Deck 5
cat 10 - Inside (secret porthole) - cabin # ? (hillbeans)

Deck 6
cat 06A - Large Verandah (near aft) - cabin #6152 (Preds)

Deck 8
cat T - 1 Bedroom Suite - cabin # 8046 (Cherri Briggs)

All are welcome to participate, whether your cabin is included in the crawl or no!

If you'd like to join in showing your cabin, please provide your cabin #, category, and features of your cabin so we can try to avoid duplicates.

Thanks!

Mike

Thanks Mike! I'm in 5524. Looking forward to seeing all of the other cabins on the crawl.

Welcome to all of the new cruisers who have joined the thread :woohoo::wave2:

Carol I was lucky my agent at DU snagged the secret verandah for me! She must have been stalking the computer waiting for whom ever was holding it to not go through with the booking ;)

I am new to cruising, so please forgive me.... but what is a secret verandah???

I keep hoping that DCL will return to Hawaii!!! I was hoping that was happening in 2015, but so far no.... I will have my fingers crossed for the future though!!

We were trying to decide what would be the next cruise to book onboard this one. We have done the eastern one already. We are thinking alaska or one of the Europe ones... I would love to do the Panama Canal ones, but they do not work out with our schedules.... :earsboy:

6134, 6634, 7120 and 7620 are the "secret verandah" rooms. They have regular verandahs (not Navigator's) that are partially blocked by the structure of the ship. But are priced as Navigators so get better deal. If you Google "DCL Secret Verandah" I'm sure you'll find photos. I don't know how to upload, sorry. There are a few "secret" porthole rooms too.

Hi, glad to see posting picking up.
I haven't posted in a while since most posts were re fishextenders and we are not participating in that.

Anyone have port plans yet?

For Cozumel, we want to do the Cozumel Bar Hop.
http://cozumelbarhop.com/
This would be adults only, of course, but I noticed we have some traveling without children, so perhaps some others might be interested in this excursion. We have done it our past four times to Cozumel and it really is a lot of fun and a great way to spend the day there.

We will be doing it for sure. It's so much fun :drinking1

Sorry, I've been MIA, wasn't sure if we were going to make this cruise or not but it looks like everything will work out!!!!

I found info and pics about the secret verandah rooms but I can't post the link to that website, but it was very easy to find.

2 Spots are left for the Fish Extender "Mickey" List.

I updated the formatting a bit to make it a bit easier to follow and print.

After this list is full, whomever wants to can start a new list, perhaps a "Minnie" list?

:banana::banana: Yeah! So close!:banana:

Okay--we are not disney cruising newbies--we know to bring our pirate gear, but we haven't yet done the FE's. Just signed our family of four up. Eric, Brea, Tyler and myself, Lori. What are the shoe sizes for?

Also, new to google docs--so I hope it saved! I didn't see a save button???

So excited!

So happy you signed up!!!! The shoe sizes are for someone that asked for them for the girls in the group. She is making something for them that needed that information.

Also, your information saved to the google doc. I am also new to them, so I was unsure as well when I set it up!

Only one more spot and the first list is full :yay:  :cheer2: :woohoo:

So I added another Google Doc in post #1 to keep track of the Cabin Crawl as well! I think I got everyone from above, but please double check! I can't wait to see some of the rooms!!!!

I also started a "Minnie" List on the FE link. We have one more spot open on the Mickey list and then we are ready to start a new one!!! SO EXCITING!!!! If you want to be on all the lists, please add yourself to the new list as well! I was not sure if there are people who would like to be!

174 more days :)

I have been to Key West only once before and I was 10 years old. I can't remember to much about the trip except for Hemingway's House. Have any of you been there?? Are there must dos??? I just want to wing it, so I can do port adventures on the other stops.....

Are any of you doing any of the other port adventures on the other stops??? Any suggestions??? We want to swim with Dolphins at one port, but not sure what else....

TIA for any help or input :)

The bar hop on Cozumel sounds awesome!!! But we are traveling with 3 kids, and that is not going to happen. The same company offers a beach hop... that sounds fun :)

Because I am beyond bored and can think of nothing else besides our cruise, I posted a poll with a few names for our group. Don't laugh to hard, but I got nothing.... If you have a few suggestions, I will add them to the poll and we can vote!!! (PLEASE ADD SOMETHING!!!!!)

I'm totally uncreative when it comes to naming things but I'll give it a shot ;)
Here's a few ideas I thought of:

- Mickey's Magic MarinEARs
- Wacky WesternEARs (since we're on a Western Caribbean cruise)
- Disney Magic CruisEARs

Try not to laugh - that's the best I got after a full day of work and an evening of grad school homework!:)

These are much better than mine!!!!!! I like them all, except I can't figure out how to edit the poll!!!! We are going to have to vote another way

I put a poll up on the FB page with the other suggestions. FB will allow you vote and add your own suggestions as well.
