Disney It's a Small World Collection by LeSportsac-Final Collection Released (Aug)

I really love the DE bag it's perfect for all body shapes and heights. The only dislike is the thick webbing in front that seems to chop big patterns, therefore I feel the Magical Journey is perfect for this style. Currently it is my most used bag and the colors seem to match everything. Whether fully stuffed or partially filled it seems to hold its shape pretty well. I don't think there's any other bag Lesportsac or otherwise that is a good substitute.

I'm excited to hear about the new designs! I hope someone that got the email can copy the images here. When are they going to be available for purchase?

Were the patterns the Moroccan and the English ones that were speculated about earlier in the thread or were they different? I really liked the English one!

I'm still on the fence about getting the Tahitian Dreams from Disney.com now or biting the bullet and paying full price and getting the English one when it comes out (if it's coming in August) I really want something before my trip in September!

The Moroccan print is one of the new prints and a more vibrant, warmer version of Magical Journey is the other. PM me and I can forward you the email later.

English print is for winter whose release is December I believe.

Looks like I waited too long to finally make up my mind. The Kasey bag is sold out :(

I just got an email from LSS with a 15% off code (summersale) and it doesn't appear to exclude IASW. :goodvibes

Thanks for the code! I have been waiting to see the new fall prints and I like summer better. I finally just ordered the hobo in the Magical Journey pattern. Yay~

Thanks for the code. I have been debating on getting one for awhile and finally decided to get one 15% off. Got the magical journeys hobo purse to go along with my 2 disney dooney purses! So excited! :cool1:

Would anyone who ordered either one of the cosmetic bags please post pictures of them open or with some items inside? I'm still debating which one I like better, and would greatly appreciate it. :wave2:

I have one of the rectangular cosmetics in each pattern coming soon. I can take a pic when they get here!

Just a head's up shipping isn't free on Lesportsac.com it's $5-6 so it may not be worth the 15% savings if you're just getting small low value items.

The one with 2 zippers is bigger and more structured than the other for the same price, to me those are the main differences.

Contents: 2 vaccination record cards, Buzzy, Velcro band in main section, and 2 sets of BeeStractor cards in the small front pocket.

So cute! Can't wait to see what other countries they use.

From Stitch Kingdom:

LeSportsac and Disney Consumer Products announced today the launch of the Disney It’s a Small World by LeSportsac collection featuring handbags, totes and accessories that combine the bright aesthetic of LeSportsac with inspiration from the mid-century artwork of Disney artist Mary Blair who created the whimsical look of the beloved Disney theme park attraction “it’s a small world.”

Disney It’s a Small World by LeSportsac collection includes five seasonal deliveries, each inspired by a specific country. In addition to celebrating a country, each delivery will be anchored with a Signature Tote and a colorful print that pays tribute to the unique facades and architectural works of Disney’s “it’s a small world” Theme park attraction. The collection kicks off with a celebration of Tahiti that includes two graphic totes and a range of 12 styles in two vibrant prints.

“We are so inspired by Blair’s original art and the “it’s a small world” theme of global awareness,” said D’Arcy Jensen, Vice President, Global Creative Director, LeSportsac. “Each collectible design we are creating is a colorful narrative that is sure to delight fans of Disney, Mary Blair and LeSportsac alike.”

The “it’s a small world” attraction, which debuted at the New York World’s Fair in 1964, was created by Walt Disney both as a salute to UNICEF and his belief that everyone is united in their love of children and dreams of a better tomorrow. In keeping with the original philanthropic message of “it’s a small world,” Disney will make a donation to UNICEF in honor of “it’s a small world” and all product in the Disney It’s a Small World by LeSportsac collection will include a special hangtag sharing the history of the original attraction and the connection to UNICEF.

“Our collaboration with LeSportsac pays homage to the magical experience of “it’s a small world” while continuing the legacy of the message behind one of Disney’s most beloved theme park attractions,” said Robert Oberschelp, director, Disney Collections, DCP. “Walt Disney’s vision is as powerful and true today as it was when he first shared it with the world.”

The Disney It’s a Small World by LeSportsac Collection will be available online at LeSportsac.com and at all LeSportsac flagship boutiques worldwide within the next month or so.

Do you think they'll do a back-pack version?

Thank you for taking the time to post the pictures. :) I haven't been able to find the cosmetic bags here in Orlando, so if I order with the 15% off, it basically covers the shipping. Now if I could just make up my mind. Buzzy sounds like a very cool product.
