Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Love your 4/1 plan. A picture in front of each icon is perfect. So glad you picked Soarin... I was nervous. What ride are you thinking of in the MK?

I got a little behind but I am back! Here are my thoughts:

1.I love your purple suitcase and backpack.:cutie:
2.Really cute shoes.:goodvibes
3.It looks like you have your feet issues covered!:thumbsup2
4.I love chai tea! It tastes like pumpkin pie.:)
5.Your 4 in 1 day looks great! I think you can do it!:cool1:

The frozen Chai looks so good.

I love your 4/1 plan, especially the photos in front of each park's icon. It's too bad Disney doesn't make a 4 Parks/1 Day fram with 4 slots for photos. It would be perfect for this.

I think your 4 park plan looks great! I vote for It's A Small World at the MK, but that may not be exciting enough!

As for your big feet :lmao: I wear a 10, and have wide feet..a lot of the time I will buy mens 8's..which is what I do with tevas..they just feel better, and fit better. ;)

I love your new sneakers, they're super cute!

LL, the Frozen Chai is awesome! I'm so with Jen on this one, it is a really refreshing, tasty drink. :goodvibes

I love your four parks plan, especially taking a picture in front of each of the park icons. It's a great idea.

If it were me in the MK, I'd be heading straight for POTC. Just sayin'. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Welcome to Packing Mayhem.

This is what I'm dealing with.

JanPTR001.jpg

I don't even know where to begin.

I don't know what bags I should bring, I don't plan to bring them all. I don't know which two I want to bring on the plane.

I'm overwhelmed. I haven't even added my clothes to the packing pile yet.

Oy.

I did get my new sneakers today.

Aren't they purdy?

JanPTR003.jpg

I also ordered some blister reinforcements.

JanPTR002.jpg

Aren't they AWESOME!?!

1. Blister Shield Power. It's just a container of powder.

2. Asic brand chafe powder creme.

3. Body Glide packets! Aren't they neat? Anything in travel size makes me excited. I figured they would be good for bringing into the park, lightweight and easy to carry.

we are so wonder twins..I need sneakers too!

And just how big of a blister are you planning on getting or preventing. That jar of Blister Shield is Costco size.

Ok so i've totally dropped the ball on your pre-trippie but I must say that it thrills me to find another person who shares my love of travel sized items! (or "littles" as I call them!)

So I have formulated a plan for my 4 Parks 1 Day Extravaganza.

This is still a tentative plan. I'm not 100% sure this is what I will be doing on my solo day. I have to see how my feet and my knee hold out and if I am feeling the craziness. Who knows, I may wake up and want to do one park. Maybe I'll want to sit and relax at the resort, maybe I'll want to go eat breakfast pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express. But for now this is the plan. I've decided to go with one attraction and either a second attraction or character greeting at each park. I reserve the right to change my mind on which rides/characters I want to do on the day. I will also get a picture taken of myself in front of each park icon. The order of the parks is the order that I will visit them in.

*Hollywood Studios @ Rope Drop:
*Toy Story Mania
*Great Movie Ride
*Picture in front of Hat

*Animal Kingdom:
*It’s Tough to be a Bug
*Character Greeting
*Picture in front of Tree of Life

*Magic Kingdom:
*Meet Ariel
*One Ride
*Picture in front of Castle

*Epcot:
*Spaceship Earth
*Soarin

So what do you think??

Completely doable.

Either way, they rule. I do like the Mickey shaped bar though....;) Everything Mickey shaped has zero calories and tastes better.

That chai looks GOOD. I'm guessing it's from the Anandapur Tea Company in Asia. I had a hot chai from there in January and it was delish. :thumbsup2
I agree. Every Mickey shaped is zero calories. I like that. :thumbsup2

I like those plans, tentative as they may be!! It will be so cool to have your picture in front of the park icon! I hope you can do it!
I'm really leaning towards doing it. I think it's doable and even though I'll be doing a lot of traveling back and forth I can sit on the buses, boats or monorails for a bit of a rest. Or at least I hope I can.

We had posted at the same time, almost missed your 4 Parks/1 Day schedule!

I think this looks good. On MeMom's 4 Parks/1 Day she mentioned they really had no problem doing it - and they fit in a nap! I like the idea of getting your picture in front of each park icon too. :thumbsup2

Do you have a few ideas for the MK ride? Or are you just going to see what strikes your fancy at that moment?
I really think it's doable and I like the symbolism of it. In May I was barely hobbling around in one park each day. If I have the stamina and ability to hit up all four parks in one single day that means I've come a long way in this whole weight loss. I like what that means to me if that makes sense.

For Magic Kingdom I am thinking either Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Mickey's Philharmagic. I even like the idea of watching the 3PM parade if I can make it there by that time.

I think your plans sounds great! :thumbsup2
Thanks! I really think I might go for it.

Plan for 4 parks is great....I think I am remembering now that when I did this we were staying at SSR and I am pretty sure we actually went to DTD last and then back to room...so that was 4 parks and a quick trip to DTD. What was I thinking? I guess I wasn't! :rotfl2:
The frozen chai looks like it might be good...I am a plain iced tea drink...no sweet tea for me :confused3 and sometimes I like chai....I think this can be found in Asia....there is a drink type of place I think across from Yak.
Well now that chocolate MH is looking even more tasty. It looks like a macaroon. Macaroons are said to help settle the stomach after eating so you should buy a bunch. ;)
Cute sneakers and luggage....I see your sheep again ;)

Tracy
Wowser, that is one full day with the parks and DTD! Good for you!

Baaaa.

Love your 4/1 plan. A picture in front of each icon is perfect. So glad you picked Soarin... I was nervous. What ride are you thinking of in the MK?
Of course I would pick Soarin. I love that ride, I want to get as many rides as possible on Soarin this trip. :lovestruc

Jen suggested TTC or Carousel of Progress, I like those. But I think I'm just going to go where my fancy strikes.

I'm way behind on your PTR too. I've been so overwhelmed this week that I think I'm behind on just about all of my subscriptions. :rotfl:

The frozen Chai looks so good.

I might have to get a special souvenir from each park to commemorate my day. Hmmm....maybe a park pin?? I wish they had a photo frame that would be perfect!

I am size 11 and in women's sneakers I have to go up to 12's most of the time. I hate shoe shopping but I do have to say that my work shoes with the weight I have lost are getting too big. :rotfl: My problem with men's shoes are that they aren't as cute! :rotfl:

I love your new sneakers, they're super cute!

I might have a taste of Jen's. I'm not big into tea-ish/coffee drinks. We'll see.

Pirates is a contender for sure, it's one of my favorites. It's such a classic! :3dglasses

We really are. It's scary. :rotfl:

Big ones. I was in such pain in May that I will not be unprepared again. :thumbsup2

I like the four parks extavaganza plan! I think that would be so much fun! I also think you need to make a t-shirt for it! :thumbsup2
Oh a tshirt is tempting but I don't think I will have the time for it. I'm thinking either my Mickey or Minnie tshirt will have to be worn. What do you think?

Ok so i've totally dropped the ball on your pre-trippie but I must say that it thrills me to find another person who shares my love of travel sized items! (or "littles" as I call them!)
Hehehe, littles. I like that!

No worries on dropping the ball! Life is busy!

Completely doable.
You think, DIS Doctor?

I love your 4/1 plan! I'm glad you're going to try for TSM -- I still haven't been on. I'm considering getting it for the Wii so I can practice. :rotfl2:

I just caught the post about Mickey shaped foods tasting better and having zero calories.

I love it! :goodvibes

LL and Jen, you must be getting super excited! I was so excited about your trip that I ended up wandering over to the web site last night and pricing things out, and I'm not supposed to be going any time soon! Bad TK, bad, bad! :rotfl2:

I was trying to be dry like most doctors are...:)
Gotcha. You succeeded. :lmao:

Go for the Mickey one. After all, it all started with a mouse. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:
Yes but Minnie is a prettier color. :rotfl2: We'll see what I'm feeling in the morning. You know...there is a wonderful shirt with all the park icons on it on the Disney Store website....Hmmmm.

Please tell me you will be going on it in February! You have too. It's a really fun game for Wii too.

:lmao: Uh oh! She's pricing out trips. I know as soon as I get back I'll have that pricing out disease again. I really want to goon a tripw ith Marc but I don't know if we'll swing going to Disney or not.

I like your four parks plan! I think you are right: you can use the transport between the parks as a period of rest! Also remember that at the MK, you can avoid walking by using the Railroad! :thumbsup2

Love your asics, they are much cuter than mine, but then mine are mainly for running, so I don't really care that much what they look like...

I know what you mean about large feet. I usually wear a 10 and already find shoes difficult... :headache:

It also seems that the weather forecast has improved a lot for your trip, hasn't it? I spot 76 for next Saturday. I guess buying long underwear really helped!! :lmao: But who knows what the weather will really be up to and at least you know that you will be prepared for everything. I just feel so sorry for the people running the half marathon today with a high of 42!! :scared1: And I was planning on doing that next year... I might need to reconsider...

I'm really excited about the 4 Parks/1 Day. I'm looking forward to it.

I just got done watching the news and they are reporting SNOW AND SLEET in the Orlando area. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I haven't checked the weather in the last two days. Maybe I should do that.....
