Disney Gift Card Deals

First discounted Disney GC order placed! Didn't see the $100 cards, bummer.

Question: I was able to use my target gift cards and get my red card discount (yay) - but I did have to type all the GC info in. Seemed weird since there is a "my gift cards" section where all this stuff is already...just seems it could link. Is it me? Is it a mobile thing? No biggie just annoying to have to squint at those teeny numbers again.

It's a mobile thing. If you're not using the mobile website, the GCs are saved in your Target .com account for future uses. But even if you've entered them on the regular website, they won't show up in your account on the mobile website.

Gonna hold off on any more purchases until I get that Disney gift card and my other physical Target card, but if all goes as well, I will have $100 worth of gift cards for $86.67. So a savings of 13.3%.

But the PO Box thing frustrates me to no end. I know that Cardpool will deliver to my PO Box because I have bought with them before, but this is ridiculous. My PO Box is far, far more secure than a mail box at my home that would be 1,000 feet or more from my house. I just don't get it. Why on earth will Disney deliver $1200 worth of park tickets to my Po Box, but they won't deliver a $100 gift card when I get one directly from them. CRAZY.

The PO Box issue is because Target uses UPS to deliver their packages (sometimes just UPS, sometimes UPS "Mail Innovations" which is UPS handing off to the post office). UPS is not allowed to deliver to a PO Box (USPS rules), only to a street address. Security isn't the issue, it's the postal service who won't let them drop off a package at a PO Box. Typically with the Disney GCs, they use the Mail Innovations delivery method, but because they could possibly use just UPS, they can't take a PO Box as a delivery address. Seems stupid, but that's USPS for you.

Trying to make sure I have enough gift cards. We use them to pay off our trip package, extra meals, meal related tips (charged back to room), and souveniers. Am I forgetting anything else I can use the gift cards for? I'm second guessing getting a lot for souveniers, since we have the Disney Visa & its 10% off WDW shopping with that.

The Disney Visa discount can only be applied IF you spend $50 or more in a single transaction and IF you pay using the Disney Visa (or the Rewards Card that you get from Chase). You don't get the discount if you pay with GCs.

Thanks for those that shared the $100's were available on Target as I successfully ordered mine online at Target.com this morning and appears everything is much better! :)

The "bad news" - I have my first "used" Raise card though :( I had not combined them yet but I had printed them to do and I keep really good track of them this way and I did go to combine them this morning and on one of the four, I saw immediately it was $0 available. This person must have known as it appears he/she used it right away and not sure I could have even been that fast. It was from 6/6 and gone right after looking at the history. That just gripes me people do that. UGH. Sadly I think it was my 9% ones! LOL

I think they open at 10am EST so hopefully it goes smoothly and quickly. The "person" used online so I guess I'm having a "duh moment" - how do they know it was "him/her" that used it online and not me? I'm assuming it's tacked on to the order with Target and they verify it that way? I'm not worried as I know they have great service so fingers crossed :)

You can get the discount with your rewards redemption card too.

Please keep us posted on your outcome. I have just started using raise and still very new and nervous to the whole process. Hopefully all will go smoothly and this will make us all feel better when something goes wrong and I know that it can happen from time to time with any site.

I had a Target GC from Raise zero'd out right after purchasing it. It was around 11 PM here on the East Coast and the card was depleted in a Target store on the West Coast. I contacted Raise immediately by email and they had it taken care of the next morning. I was bummed that I lost out on the big discount that the card had on it, but I would have been more upset if I was completely out of the money.

That was the fastest that I've seen a card go to zero but it wasn't the only one. Raise customer service has always been quick to take care of all of the problems. The longest that I waited for a refund was 3 days and that was because the problem occurred on a weekend.

Yep agreed - as long as I get my money refunded which I'm fully expecting to based on the great feedback I've consistently read about them. They have already escalated the issue so yes absolutely I'll post my experience.

To the above poster - I've been doing this awhile and have bought a "ton" and this was my very first zeroed out card. I had another issue where I bought a Disney gift card that can be used at WDW, DCL, etc and it was advertised as that and it was technically a store card and it wouldn't work in my DV account and that was a little tricky but again, they refunded it no problems after I explained it to them and they confirmed it. They honestly made a mistake and listed it incorrectly and they owned up to that.

That's the rewards card from Chase that I was referring to.
oops. Sorry. I didn't see that part. I was actually looking cause I thought I saw somewhere they let you use GC's and get the 10%. When I checked online I didn't see it though and failed to reread your post.

So glad the $100 gift cards are available. I like that there will be less to input, plus I like the design better. Got $300 worth just now! Everything worked so smoothly. So glad.

I wish I had waited for the $100 ones to come online, but I had a $1000 Target gift card I didn't want to get drained. Off to enter 25 $50 Disney Cards into my DVA ...

It's annoying but sometimes I think it's fun. I have at least $700 worth of gift cards I've entered.

Count me as someone who finds it "fun" too. Something about the money being entered into DVA makes it more real than actually buying the cards, like "hey I'm really paying off my vacation!".

I just found this thread and I'm so excited to get started. This will be significant savings on our vacation!

Just placed my first order with Cardcash.
All Target GCs that were listed as "printable ecard".
My confirmation email says "Shipping Method: USPS First Class
