Yup it looks like a glitch. I hesitate to buy. Last time I bought and got refunded my redcard difference but don't want to risk not getting my discount refunded.

Looks like the Target app made an update yesterday to fix a glitch to the shipping address. Well it looks like the fix glitched the default payment which is probably why the discount is not applying.

I didn't try the app. The problem is on the regular website as well. Hey, maybe when they fix it eBates will work again, lol.

Tried removing them and just putting a clothing item in cart just to double check-still doesn't show red card discount so it clearly is a glitch
But not sure that if you called after ordering and paying with a gift card they would refund you since that happening is clearly a glitch in the first place lol

I had the same issue. Scared me and I was already nervous holding on to a gc I bought the other day. I went ahead and got 4 just to spend it. Not sure if I will try all of this again. I have been in constant worry for the past 2 days!

Yea, I wouldn't do it if I had been in constant worry for 2 days.
It's really not worth harming your health over a Target discount.

I did call though because I found a cute item for my son i wanted and it still wouldn't apply the discount-called and was told there is a proble with the site and to place the order and call back for a manual adjustment-think I will just wait until it is fixed

Smart choice. Definately don't buy online unless you're getting something extra out of it. Also, you can buy the $100 Disney gift cards in store.

Exactly-then I have the activation receipts (since people seem to get unactivated sometimes), don't have to wait/worry about them coming in the mail and can buy 3 $100 instead of 6 $50
Would like the extra $15 off but I think we all know it can't last forever lol-anyway 10.05% (plus the 1.5% cc discount I got to buy target gift card) is better than just the 5% red card target discount

I'm also sitting on target gc for a few days. Decided to wait if redcard discount works again. I couldn't get the discount for any items.

I'm also ok waiting it out to see if the "glitch" is fixed for the 5% off online. This happened not that long ago and I want to say it was 1-2 weeks later it was fixed, but it was fixed. I have been saving at least 10% *before* buying online so this is still far better than just using my Red card at Target and only saving 5%. I'll wait it out but I'll be sure I combine in my Mobile app and still use within 60 days to be safe.

I have a Raise question. I felt like the Target cards were safe since I was immediately combining them with a pre existing card. It did make me curious though about buying discounted cards for places we dine out at from time to time...is there a suggestion for making all types of cards "safe" like the combining method??

My fear is that I'd buy a $200 card for example, which would give us several dinners out depending on place, but the balance would not be 'secure' if that makes sense. Ideas?

My personal rule is to use the gift cards(other than the Target ones that I can combine with my own gift cards) within 100 days. (I believe that is how long Raise guarantees them.) If I don't plan to completely use it within 100 days, then I don't buy it.
