How do you use the red card discount when buying a Disney gift card with a target gift card? I just spent over an hour in Target with three different associates and none could get it to work.

I have a gift card for $100 that I was trying to redeem for a $100 Disney gift card. I do it online with no issues. In store was a nightmare

You can't get the discount in the store, just online, if paying with a gift card.

I agree--very routine. It does make me a little nervous, though, that the listing for 50's has disappeared. The 100's listing, luckily, says the normal "In Store Only," or whatever. Hopefully one or the other will come back soon!

Oh my goodness THAT is amazing...and funny! You must have some REALLY nice Target employees! Because it's really a loophole that allows us to get the 5% discount on-line. Definitely NOT policy!

They won't bring them back for online purchase. Never happened within the last few weeks, months, or year. You can go back in the threads and check. Start from page 700 or so. You'll see they've never been out of stock.

They were apologetic that they couldn't figure it out. I showed them an online transaction from my order history. They were a little embarrassed that no one knew. Now, I'm embarrassed because it's not something that can even be done in store :/ I feel bad. There was a line behind me and everything...

Had a nice surprise this week! I had a FatWallet account that I totally forgot about, and then I got an email saying that if I transferred my balance from FatWallet to Ebates, they would pay me $10 after I ordered at least $25 at any online store that uses Ebates. And then the ebucks promotion happened, so I met that requirement. I hadn't used that account in over 4 years, so I totally forgot about it. And the silly thing is that I only had 77 cents in that account! But now I have access to it and a bonus! YAY!

I recommend everyone check to see if they had a FatWallet account, especially if you are using a different email account than you did 4 or 5 years ago. They may have sent you a note and you just haven't seen it.

I haven't used my Fat Wallet account since 2008 and it won't let me log in. I even tried resetting the password.

On another note, I have a funny story about Fat Wallet. My ex-bf interned at Fat Wallet when I was in college. They had arcade games, ice hockey and ping pong tables and an indoor golf simulator. They had a policy that anyone was allowed to be there no matter what time, day or night. Ex and I took our friends to the office late on a Saturday night to hang out. But the alarm went off and the Ex forget the code, so the police showed up shortly afterwards. We were just in the game room, hanging out playing ping pong when the cops came. We met them at the door and welcomed them inside. They seemed genuinely confused. We explained the situation and they were pretty calm about it, since I imagine they could have seen a bunch of 20 year old kids in the building and thought the worst. While we waited for the boss to arrive and clear everything up, the cops played ping pong with us. Once his boss got there, we all had snacks and hung out in the golf simulator for a few hours. It was one of those odd moments when it could have turned out badly if someone had over reacted. But instead it was a fun, rememberable night.

Huh? Disney gift cards go out of stock on target.com often. It is obviously always possible they may not restock but over the past year there have been multiple times the $50, $100 or both have been out of stock and said "avail in stores only" but had always previously returned online (sometimes after a few days and sometimes after a few weeks.)

I jusr ordered 4 and they were immediately canceled. Can't remember the limit on $100 disney cards, so maybe I exceeded it. Will try 3 later.

@Friendlyadvice2 the giant eagle ad that had the double fuel perks this weekend-was that a Pittsburgh area ad or a different region (Erie, Cleveland, etc)?
