I actually didn't think of that until after I already posted. I did then go back and read through several posts about it. I think I am the only one that this particular issue has happened to though. Still, that was the correct number to call and thankfully they took care of it.

Good to know-wasn't sure if it mattered for a missing eBay ecard vs an unactivated Disney card but figured that would be a good place to start

OMG....I tried explaining a card catalog to my kids a few months ago. They didn't get it. "Why would they do that? Why didn't you just use a computer?" I'm only 39, but that made me feel ancient.

8 tracks are before my time but I remember using microfiche in elementary school and middle school.
You know when you actually had to GO TO THE LIBRARY to do research lol

Thank you all for this thread. I've been watching it for a while now. Started with Raise/Target/disney and evolved with your help to ebay and more. I am not one to ever log in to these or do any kind of posts but just felt I had to chime in this one. Yes it is a long thread, but there is so much useful information in it and once you get up to speed you can just stay updated daily on what's new. My long way of saying keep this thread live. In the topic of learning the hard way, when I got up on Ebucks and had the 5x points last month I got aggressive, purchased $4,500 from Target in a week. DONT DO IT! I can no longer use "that" account to make any 5% discounted online purchases. Banned for being a "reseller".

How did you find out you were banned? We'd love any details you have about that. Did you purchase any Disney GCs during that time, or was it all eBay?

Then we are going to replace your thumb drive with an 8 inch floppy that could only hold one text message.

Was that the thing you put an original on a drum and hand crank out copies using embalming fluid? I used to get so stoned when I did that.
The entire class would just pick up there copy and inhale.

Oh No! So sorry to hear that! I only started the target/ebay churning in February. Although I have been doing the target gift card online/ disney gift card for a couple of years. I did $850 the first week of churning ebay, but after reading more I slowed down and only did about $300-$400 at the most in a week. Now, I am just hoping my account isn't flagged from my missing ecard issue. I am not going to try buying anymore for at least a week.

Had been doing Raise/Target/Disney "slowly" for about a year with no problems (Purchased Dec/Jan/Mar vacation and AP). In March i got aggressive with the EBay cards to get the max return from Ebucks - Targets final straw was $2,000 ebay cards in ONE day. BANNED. Called Target to inform them we are not "reseller". Empathetic supervisor said there is no exceptions to reactivate account. Left it alone at that - dont want to rock the boat and ruin the 5% discount. Luckily we have two red card accounts so will walk lightly on the other account. Have trips in Sept/Oct/Dec and Cruise in Jan. Big blow out year for the little ones ultimate lifetime memories.

And for those who need a calculator to do long division (yeah, people, I did physics problems on a slide rule in high school - Google it), that's a tad over one $600 order per day (3 - $200 eBay GCs in an order). People asked earlier if ordering from Target every day might be a problem. There's your answer!

Long time lurker - finally have something that might be useful to contribute - you can buy ebay gift cards with your ebay bucks to 'lock in' the $$. You won't get any ebay bucks for the transaction and you won't get credit from any cashback sites (that I am aware of) but the ebay gift cards don't expire, so you can hold those $$ into May of you need to.

Thanks! I just used my ebay bucks to buy ebay GCs. I went through SB because they're offering 2 SB per $ but if it doesn't credit, I don't care. I'd rather make sure that I don't lose those ebay bucks while waiting for a bonus offer!
