I just flipped $400 worth of video games and transferred them to an eBay gift card tonight. The system definitely takes them. The employee that was helping me with the trades was even like "yeah, that's the way to do it" "buy your games on eBay for even cheaper than here!" I guess he was thinking that I was going to buy more games on eBay, haha.

At least its not system-wide. The chick who did the $100 the other day even tried to tell me the POS system won't accept it today and said that it won't work using trade-in credit or rewards either

@DomesticKrys I am not sure you can buy a gift card with a Meijer gift card, but I was going through with the gift cards and groceries too, and the groceries would have been more than the gift cards so I figured it would work...

I am so tempted to cash in my Ebay bucks. Anyone else?! We are leaving for a WDW trip on Saturday and we'll only be gone 4 days but I am losing hope for an Ebay bucks promo this round. I guess I can just suck it up and wait until Tuesday to see if there's a promo.

Thank you for sharing this, just one question - what do you do with the $30+ Target egift card? Keep that separate for non gc purchases or roll it back in next time you place an order?

I roll them back in next time I order. Since we're limited to using four gift cards per order, I usually have to combine them first by purchasing a larger denomination Target gift card.

Then sometime at the very beginning of April, the pay me $8. My account says I have $10 cash back balance, but also says I only have $1 that will be paid on 8/15. Why are the holding on to the additional money?

Thanks to all that contribute to this thread. I have enough money to pay off my cruise and now I am working on spending money for it.

That really confused me, too! When I first joined, I got a check for $1.90 a few weeks (maybe a month?) in. Now everything else is to be paid out on 5/15. I think the way it works is that they pay you a small amount of your cash back to start (I have no clue why) and then it ends quarterly, paying out the 15th of the following month. So May, August, November, February would be payout months for what you earned the previous quarter.

Churning is specific to each of us. I read and read and read and slowly started getting the SB apps set up, Perk, etc etc...then started with just Target GC to Disney GC. Only recently started adding in eBay during promos. You have to take into account what part of the country you live in (available stores), your risk tolerance, all that stuff. No one person churns like the next one. I for example had trouble with GCM sending two shipments "postage due". I went through PayPal for resolution; as of now one has been refunded. No one else who posts here verbalized that problem, so it at first threw me for a loop. Hubby was upset, wanted to me stop. Fortunately all other shipments since then (knock on wood) have been delivered with no issues. Still have no idea what the problem was. And to add to the confusion, GCM sent me two packages delivered on the same day...I was only expecting one shipment of 3 $100 ...the first package had 4 $100 Target GC's in it, ...and the other had 3 $100 Target GC's in it. I was totally confused. So I looked all of them up...The package of 3 GC's had balances of Zero. The package of 4 had three GC's with the $100 balances and the fourth one had Zero. Even more confused. All I can guess is they screwed up the first shipment and immediately sent another one that was as messed up as the first but then they activated the 3. Thank goodness it worked out. God Bless Colorado, maybe some of the employees were partaking in the recreational marijuana?

Morale of the story: we each have our own story and experiences. I love reading these boards, and I enjoy all the planning for our Disney Trip. Thanks for everyone who posts!

Like a previous person said we should come up with a generic canned message every time someone tries to suggest a "how to".

It took me months of reading to become comfortable. I thought I was a super saver with my Raise to Target method. The Ebay stuff seemed daunting to me because I had only ever used Ebay a handful of times and I didn't know what I was doing. I have Giant Eagle, no Kroger or Meijer, and I am scared to death of churning Gamestop, so I stay away from it. We all have our own methods of what works for us and it's awesome that we can all share deals and tips on this page. Just know that this is not for the faint of heart lol.

Be patient. There was a promo on Jan 21 or 22 last quarter. Ebay is trying to out wait you. They want you to spend all your points so they don't have to pay the bonus.
The possibility that there won't be a bonus is quite real. You have until the end of the month to spend your points.

Yes about 8am est. On Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I would be very surprised if one came in today.

That's wonderful! So happy for you! I'm curious how much you initially invested & how long it took you to accomplish that if you don't mind sharing.

I haven't made nearly as much as others have, mostly because for 1 year I did the 52 weeks saving plan along with the Raise>Target>Disney churn.

I just started churning with EBay in March, as I finally realized how much could be made doing this. I never understood the earnings came with the EBucks.

I started the EBay process with $600 in EBay GCs using the discounted Target GCs I already had along with about $225 in cash. In March I ordered from GCM 4 times, once without a bonus, once using a code for $10 off $75 or something like that and 2x's with a bonus. Including my Ebucks, it looks like for the month of March, I earned about $150 which is about 25%. Not too shabby. I already have $600 in EBay GCs ready to go.

As far as the whole "start a new one,share the secret' posts.... none of this is a secret. this isn't the only 'churn' forum....in fact it's one of the kindest,most helpful 'churn' forums I've ever read! This info is out there all over the internet, aimed at various types of churning,depending on your particular goals. The stores we all tend to use a lot, they know what's going on. If they don't like a loophole that people are using, they close it. That's part of the risk. And starting another thread just means a new beginning to what we have right here,a monster thread full of great ideas, that you have to read personally! For myself, I read the thread for years before I decided to try some of it out. And then I made some mistakes along the way (haha some of my wth posts lol) Thanks to all of you 'experts' on here for answering so many newbie (my own) questions!
