Disney Gift Card Deals

Sams Club has $150 Disney gcs (3 pk of $50 each) for $142.98 with free shipping right now.
This is less that 5% off (4.68%?). Using a Red Card at target, the price would have been $142.50. Not a huge difference, but when you buy many card to pay for a vacation, it adds up.

Just bought a Target eGC at GiftcardZen.com for 5% off. Seems to be the best discount right now, Raise was offering 4.5% and others were offering smaller discounts.
Raise prices fluctuate, depending on supply and demand. I just purchase one for 5% off of the face value. Generally, the %-off goes up when Target .com runs out of "entertainment" GCs and also following a gift-giving holiday, like Mother's Day, when recipients want to convert their gift to cash by selling the GC.

I just tried calling Disney to buy my park ticket using my gift cards. The rep said I couldn't use more than two gift cards and the only way to use multiple GCs is to combine them in a DVA. Is this really true?

I think if you take your cards to the Disney store, they will combine them all on one for you.

I would try again.

You can set up email alerts through Raise.com to send you an email whenever a new Target card is posted on their site. It's a bit annoying since its a lot of emails but it may help you jump on higher % off ones if you're able to keep an eye on your email throughout the day.

I signed up for TopCashBack yesterday, but noticed that it says they only give 1% back for certain cards purchased on Raise, and Target is one of those cards. They give 2% back on Cardpool purchases, no restrictions. I didn't look closely at either site to see if one has the Target cards at a higher % off than the other though.

Well, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. I called back and got a different CM who connected me to Ticket Services. They were able to complete the transaction with no problem.

Good point! Should have done the math first! Thanks!

Exactly. The Ticketing department can apply multiple gift cards, but the front-line reps can't seem to figure it out.

No, they will not. The Disney Store will not combine gift cards.

There is only one way to combine gift cards. You can apply them to a Disney Vacation Account (DVA). You can also use that DVA to pay for the tickets directly.

I have yet to snag one from an email! When I "troll" the site, 75% of the time I still lose the GC. By the time I add it to my cart and go to purchase, it's no longer available! very annoying.

And I did have one instance where the order sat in my order history for 2 weeks (uncompleted) before they canceled it. I'm guessing they over sold and couldn't honor it? Not sure, but they didn't charge me for it.

It felt good to buy a Target Gift Card at Staples.com with my Staples rewards :) I had been saving ink cartridges (from work) for a while. I have 20 more to turn in this month for $40 more dollars. It used to be a 10 cartridge limit per month but they talked me into upgrading (for free). I wasn't sure it was going to work (according to their rules). Happy Girl!!

ChrisJG, tell me more. Do you get Staples Rewards for Ink Cartridges?! How does that work?

If you have a staples rewards card and have bought $30 in ink/toner in the past 180 days, you get $2 per cartridge up to the limit (10 or 20 depending on your account Level). They take re manufactured as well. You don't get the rewards until the 14th or 15th of the next month though.

Not sure if eBates will work for gift cards at Staples. I forgot to try.

I have a pile of gift cards from Sam's that I want to apply to my upcoming vacation. I booked room only. I'm not able to apply them online and I would swear someone said they were able to use gift cards via phone using an automated system. I have called 3 different numbers and none take me to an automated system to pay. Does someone have the phone number that will get me to the system?

Thanks

I have never heard of an automated system. I have always had to give individual GC numbers over the phone. You can combine them in a DVA account, then you only have to call in 1 "GC" number...

I called 407-939-5277 and when the automated voice asked what I needed I said "make a payment" then it asked me for my resort reservation number and it found it in the system and asked how I wanted to make a payment, I then said gift card and it asked me for the gift card number. I did this several times over the last few months.

One time I called in it was having trouble finding the reservation so I did end up speaking to a CM to do my payment.
