Disney Gift Card Deals

Same here...the instant I get an alert I click "buy now". Cards are never there; just ones with a lower % off. Is there a trick to this???

I saw one the other day for 8% off and by the time I got it into my cart, someone had already checked out with it. The alert for the card came about 15 minutes later so clearly the alert has lag time making it virtually worthless.

I've been doing a LOT of refreshing. I've gotten lucky a couple of times. Most of the time, nothing and a couple of times, when I see something good, it's already gone by the time I get to the checkout. Someone has to be using a bot or something to do this. That's my only theory.

The "alert" finally worked for me, only not with Target cards but with Southwest. Go figure.

I was able to purchase 1,000.00 worth no problem last night. I didn't try for anything more. I will grab more this weekend. :) Thanks again!

Should I hold off on buying Disney Cards from target? I already have $300 worth of target giftcards, but I'm affraid to buy Disney Gift cards. Our trip is still over a year away, I'm afraid to have all this Disney money and not be able to use it. When do you start buying them? I'm also afraid that target is going to stop offering their 5% discount on cards.

I buy mine as soon as I have the money/gift cards. That way, I'm not able to misappropriate those funds for something less fun than Disney. Once I have the Disney Gift Cards, I load them into my Disney Vacation Account for safe keeping. That way, I don't have keep the up with the cards anymore and can spend my Disney money whenever I need to do so!!

I buy mine as soon as I have enough because you never know when the 5% discount will go away. They already took away the 5% rx discount!

If you don't know for sure that you will be going, then I wouldn't buy that many. If you know for sure you'll be going next year, then start stocking up if you can. I have enough to cover the rest of our trips this year and next spring.

It really depends on how much you have to pay Disney. I try to buy at least 1 gift card every month. Between table service meals and memory maker, I can spend at least that much in a week. Although, that's just me. I figure at least $50 per meal, and usually do one of those a day. Plus, if I have any left over, I am already planning my next visit.

Just bought $300 worth of Disney Gift Cards for $261.49 using CardPool (with $5 promo code) and then Target (with 5% redcard discount). Not bad for 30 minutes worth of work!

I figured it out. I needed to actually MAKE a new user account first, then it worked.

I was having trouble checking out with Target earlier today. It was giving me a timeout. I tried another browser and it worked.

I'm looking on Cardpool and they have electronic ones and physical ones, does it matter which one you buy? The note under the electronic ones says that it could be a merchandise credit, does that affect buying the Disney gift cards?

Also I guess this would work to buy Southwest gift cards. Does anyone know if Southwest limits the number of payments you can use at one time? Would it be better to purchase one large gift card or can you do several small ones? I have a credit on southwest I want to use up too.

I just bought some GC through Cardpool at 6.5%. Hoping Raise.com increases... a month ago I was scooping them up at 8+%.

I just did this yesterday utilizing southwest e-cards purchased on Target. (I used Raise to purchase the target cards). You are allowed to use 4 forms of payment for each purchase. I bought all of my tickets separately and used Southwest e-cards in $100 denominations to purchase the tickets.

Okay thanks! So I could just do two different transactions maybe.

Does it matter on cardpool if you buy the physical card or the electronic one? Has anyone had trouble with the ecards?

I'm hoping so too, but I think it won't be until around Father's Day/graduation. I think they were that high from people selling from Christmas.
