Disney Gift Card Deals

I think it was because Raise had the best deals. Cardpool.com seems to be tops right now in terms of percentage off. I'm going to warn you off Caddo24.com who I found during a Google search for cards. I ordered Feb 10 and I still haven't gotten my cards. I think I'm going to have to contest the charge with my credit card company. :( They claim that as a new customer they have to print my e-cards out and mail them, which is ABSURD.

Raise might be headed that way. After buying for 6+ months on there, they have held my last Target GC purchased on 2/9. Not sure why. Since the percentage off is so low, I'll be switching to Cardpool.

As for sunshine rewards, since I don't do anything else on there besides Raise, it's taking forever to get any cashback.

Silly question that I already think I have the answer to but I would like to ask anyway. May I use a Disney Gift Card to pay for my Disney Resort & dining and the tickets? Thank you.

We also have Verizon rewards where I bought a $100 Landry's GC to use at rainforest Cafe an T rEX (DH loves the Lava Lounge)

Btw Verizon charges .59 to ship GC

Is it just me or is the Verizon Rewards pretty lame? You only can save 10% using your points on gift cards. Too bad you can't use your reward points to completely purchase gift cards, unless i'm missing something....

I agree. I am very disappointed in the program.

Ya but Raise only gives around 3.8% off, even with the additional 1% your only at 4.8%. Thats even less than just going to Target and using your red card to get the 5%...Cardpool has Target cards at 6.5% off, then turn that into Disney gift cards and its a good deal of savings if your spending a lot.

I have $300 in gift cards, 6 $50 dollar cards. Is it true that there is a limit to how many can be used per transaction? Over the phone they told me that in person they should be able to let me buy a pass with GCs only, but other sites people mention a limit.

Was just curious.

I bought three gift cards from raise for my first order. from Target, a Starbucks, and a Five Guy's . Only the Starbucks one was valid. When I tried to use the Target voucher online, it showed invalid. I got a physical card for Five Guys and when I tried to use it to pay, it had zero on it.

It was my first order from raise and it will be my last. Although they were good about giving me a refund for the two gift cards that were invalid. It sounds like a lot of dishonest people sell to Raise.

That stinks! I have never had a problem with Raise - and one time I held on to a Disney ecard for 2 years! Just used it on our upcoming trip to book CRT - but for Target ecards I use them right away. At least they have a great cs dept. Giftcardzen has also been consistently good and their cs agents are good as well.

I tried CardCash the other day and I had a problem which was quickly resolved. I used them again and there were no issues.

Right now, I am shopping around to find the site that has the best combination of % off and appropriate denominations. I'd like to bring about $900 in gift cards to cover our dining, TIW card and souvenirs so I have been looking for larger denominations of the Target cards.

Today, thanks to the DISBoards, I found out about TopCashBack.com and Cardpool.com. I signed up for both and here is the breakdown of my transactions...
1) Went through TopCashBack.com and linked to Cardpool.com to earn a 2% rebate on the VALUE of the gift cards
2) Bought $237.57 worth of Target Gift Cards ($200 and a $37.57) and paid $222.12 with my PayPal debit card
3) When I receive the e-mailed codes, I will use the Target gift cards to buy $250 worth of Disney Gift Cards at Target.com

Then, when all is said and done, I should receive a 2% rebate from TopCashBack ($4.75) and a 1% rebate from PayPal ($2.22)
The final result, if all goes as planned, is that I spend $215.15 and receive $250 in gift cards...a savings of 14%!

Congrats! I've been too lazy to get TopCashBack, but perhaps I'll sign up today.

I did try the "add stuff to your cart" then leave thing. It took a few days, but Cardpool did send me a coupon for 5% off, up to $10 discount. Worth a try! Also, you don't have to look for large denomination cards, you can combine everything on the phone app so it really doesn't matter if you get 10 cards or 2....tho it is a pain in the butt to input 10 cards on my phone :goodvibes

Interesting. This: "Please note; we are unable to accept Missing Cashback Claims for Cardpool." Would bug me about relying on topcashback. How can they disclaim that if your cashback does not go thru, they will not accept a claim? Then there is the limit of $1000. So there is a maximum lifetime benefit of $20. Basically they're willing to buy your email address for $20, which they disclaim they might not even pay you. Nice combos tho. Paypal Debit... Would cardpool take any credit card or does it have to be debit? I get more points by charging elsewhere. Wondering how the supply is keeping up w demand. 6.5% savings seems great... is this a case of people selling off their cards from Black Friday at Target? Is there consistently a good supply available?

They take all major CC. I'm waiting for my SW card to get in before buying more.... I do not believe these are people selling their BF cards. That might have been Raise a couple of weeks ago. The inventory has been pretty steady. Cardpool must lock in the price, unlike raise which goes up and down.

Nice job kristen. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and specifics about your savings. And you didn't mention that you still had a 7 cent Target Gift Card left over! :)

I hope to be able to do something similar.

For those who buy gift cards at Kroger . . . I just noticed a downloadable coupon for their 4x fuel promo - today through Sunday only! Love it!

Cardpool... Holy cow. Have any of you googled reviews of this site? I was considering trying them, since 6.5% and 5% is a great start no matter what you get on your charge card... but wow. It is negative review after negative review -- cards that don't work, customer service that cant be reached, emails that don't arrive. You all have tried this, and it's gone okay?

Yikes that disturbing being that I didn't read any reviews, just went on advice from Diser's. Thats being said my first transcations added up to $850 in Target giftcards and every single one of them were correct and went smooth! Saved me alltogether $110 with my Target redcard:)
