On December 4 Target is selling Target gift cards for 10% off. They've done this for the past two years. The sale runs for one day only. In the past there was limit of $300 in gift cards per person and the gift cards weren't activated until the next day to keep people from cycling them through.

In the past you could. The thing to remember online (if it works the same as prior years) is that you only get the 10% off on one order per account for up to $300 in Target gift cards. Two years ago I had planned to place three separate $100 gift card orders because I was trying to use $100 prepaid Visa cards that I had purchased at a discount. After I place the first $100 order, I tried for a second but it wouldn't take off the 10%. I ended up using DS's account for the second $100 and then placed the third as a guest. Last year I just went into the store and purchase them.

Was just in at Kmart and they're running a promotion for $5 "gift card" (more like store credit, it's not a regular Kmart gift card) when you buy a $25 or more restaurant gift card and use a shop your way loyalty card at checkout.

For those with a Safeway or Albertsons, starting tomorrow if you purchase $100 or more of select gift cards you'll receive $15 off a future grocery purchase of $25. Best Buy gift cards were included in the long list of options. No Disney unfortunately. The $15 plus the 6% credit card rewards from my Amex BCP plus fuel points makes it a better deal than the Best Buy Amex offer. Runs through the 29th.

Looks like the AmEx Staples offer is NLA. If you added the offer to your card yesterday, you should be good. But if you didn't, you won't see the offer there any more.

I'm also having trouble accessing the "My Account/My Orders" part of the Staples website. Anyone else having trouble?

Not sure if it's the right forum but Mall of America is having a promotion where you spend $250 between November 10-December 24 you can receive 2 passes to Nickelodeon Universe, 2 passes to Sea Life, or 3 passes to their Crayola Experience. I went today and redeemed my disney rewards for a gift card, along with some more shopping and turned in my receipts tonight. Kind of a localized deal but if you live close it's nice.

I placed an order with Staples for a Target GC yesterday afternoon. I have not received my GC, charge still shows as 'pending' for my cc and I have not received any email from AmExp that I used the offer.

No. There is never a 5% discount on Target gift cards when paying with your RedCard.

target gift cards are good anywhere inside target stores.

Yes, you can use a Target GC.

I think you might have a problem using GC.

I tried to use my RedCard for an extra 5% off and couldn't. My provider had to bill me. Not sure if that is the norm or part of the deal I was trying to take advantage of.

The whole process at Target was PITA and not as good of a deal as I thought. I ended up going to my provider to buy the phone.

ETA: Others seem to have different opinions/experience. I would check at your Target before purchasing $100s in GC for the phone.
