I just want to verify one more time: I can use Target gift cards to BUY Target gift cards on December 4th, right? I have about $3,000 worth of Disney cards I need to buy (for my Dec/Jan trip and my DVC dues) and even though the discount isn't really great right now on the card resale sites it's still save me another $100 if I buy Target cards and use them to buy the Target cards on the 4th and get 10% back in Target gift cards.

As of right now this still works in most stores. There is no way for anyone to be 100% sure this will be the case on the 4th. Things can change overnight.

Is there a minimum purchase when you go to use the $20 off?

Doesn't seem to be but, you can only use 1 per purchase. In other words, you can't use 5 of them to get $100 off. But, I don't think there's anything stopping you from making multiple $20ish purchases at self checkout if you want to make a bigger shopping trip at once.

Also, they expire 12/26.

Check your eBay accounts. I had a $5 coupon on mine. Not sure if you can use on gift cards or not.

Also curious, for the Dec 4 Target gift card discount, does that usually have to be done through a regular cashier check out lane?

Unfortunately, there is not. Ebay stopped allowing GC to GC purchases a couple months ago.

So quick help please....I have been stressed on planning a surprise proposal trip for my girlfriend and I haven't been paying attention to these Target December 4th deals. What is the deal this year? I leave for Disney on December 8th, so I am not sure it is even going to matter for me. Also, can you save 5% on gift card purchases by using the Red Card? Thanks!

Yes you can save 5% on GC purchases with your Red Card with the exception of a Target gift card or the VISA/MC/Amex cards. On 12/4, target is offering a sale on their own giftcards at 10% off. No one knows the specifics yet but last year it was a limit of $300. Although many, including myself, didn't have any trouble going to multiple registers and buying more than that. I bought $1800 last year. The giftcards won't work until the next day at which point, unless something changes, you can use the Target gift card to buy a Disney gift card.

Sometimes. Last year the registers allowed it, but some cashiers wouldn't. I had a manager come over when I told the cashier that it hadn't been a problem before and he accused me of "money laundering." I tried to explain that's not how money laundering worked at all, so instead he just said that I was engaging in fraud and made me use a credit card. I went to another Target store and had no issues. So, you never know. You might be accused of being a criminal instead. *sigh*

It's taking 24 hours +. I ordered 2 Target cards and 2 Old Navy in the last week and they were all running about that time frame. You should get it by today.

For Target - I know some went through self-check out last year, but am not sure if it will be allowed this year. Someone reported earlier up in the thread that there was a sign at their self-check outs stating you could not purchase gift cards there.

This ended in August. As of right now, you can still purchase Disney GCs with Target GCs in most stores. The Target POS system allows it, however you may run into a cashier that won't. Self-checkout is your friend.

That must vary by store (at least at this point). It is allowed at my store.

This morning I went and put a $25 gc for best buy in my cart and added the coupon code and checked out. It worked with no hiccups. I'm not sure if this will change come January when the stipulations go into effect for the ebucks, but I'm glad this at least worked.

Thanks! A few hours after I posted, I received it in my email, which was just under 24 hours... maybe 20ish.

My birthday was last week but I didn't get a coupon from eBay! I guess they figured I took them for enough free money.
