Does anyone no if the the Disney Fort wilderness (studio type cabins- the least points ones) have bunkbeds?
I was just wondering. We are trying to decide where to stay next, and I thought that I saw bunkbeds in one of the pictures. It would be so ideal since we have a boy and girl. I wish some other studios would offer some units like that.

I don't know about FW but have you considered a twin aero bed? We have one and our kids love it.

I seem to remember that there was a bunkbed and a twin bed in the back bedroom in the FW cabins. Why don't you ask on the camping forum, someone will know for sure.

All Wilderness Cabins have a double bed and bunk beds in the bedroom, and a double size murphy bed in the living room. There is one bathroom with shower/tub combination.

Hope that helps.

Some rooms at WL (not VWL) also have bunk beds. We stayed in one 2 years ago for the same reason it interests you. You can ask for this when you make your reservation. However, these rooms are not very large and if you're used to DVC standards you might be disappointed.

Thanks everyone for your help. We leave for the BW tomorrow morning. I do have a twin aerobed that I am trying to figure out how to pack.
I really wish there was an option to have a rollout bed brought in, but from what I read there really isn't room in the studios for that. Too bad because we would have been fine paying a nightly rate for this.

I wish more places offered bunk beds too. I also have a girl and a boy. My girl is 12 and my boy is 9. The are definately too old to sleep together so what ends up happening is that me & DD sleep in the bed and DH & DS take the sleep sofa. Our next trip we are spending 4 nights at AKL and they do offer bunkbeds which will be great for us.

Thats nice that the AK offer the bunk bed option. My daughter is 12 and son is 13. WAY to old to share a bed. We are taking a twin aero bed along with us. I really wish the option of a roll out bed was possible. I know when the soccer team stayed at the Ecno Lodge this past summer roll out beds were a popular option. Now if the Ecno Lodge sees the need for this, it sure would be nice if Disney did to.

BAck in 1998 when we had our first DVC stay it was at BWV and we were able to get a rollaway but it was $15 or $20 a night. We were only there 2 nights so it was worth it since the teenager refused to sleep anyone else. I guess they just don't do it any more. We took the aero bed in a rolling duffle bag and just checked it through a couple of times.

Have a wonderful trip.
