50s Prime Time Cafe (Dinner)

Oh how I miss that chicken sandwich at Sci Fi!!! It was one of my favorite things to eat at WDW. When we ate there in Feb. 08 they had changed the menu and this was not available anymore and neither was their wonderful hot fudge sundae.

Thanks :)

Despite the not so great reviews here, we really loved Tony's and we're going there again in August!

Schoolbread is awesome! 12 days?! I'm jealous, I have 70 days! Have fun!!

I can't say enough about this thread. I love it! Only 62 more days until I can load myself up. I only wish I had some pictures to add. Please keep them coming. I am droolong on my keyboard. :teeth:

So if I don't like custard filled donuts, would it be safe to say that I probably wouldn't care for School bread either?

Eeyore's Tailfinder--- Thanks!!!! We are planning on about 75% of the places you have pictured! YAY!!! Are you writing a review anywhere? LOL The pics look GREAT I want to know what you thought of the places.

Thanks, Dana

I love this thread and hate it at the same time. I'm sitting here at my desk at work looking at my soup bowl that I'm having for lunch but dreaming of eating Disney food! Anything...even the popcorn would be great. Just as long as it's Disney!

Not true, I cannot stand cream filled donuts but LOVE schoolbread..must be the coconut

They do look soooooooooooooooo yummy. Can I ask about the slaw? I'm really funny about how it's fixed. I don't like it with celery seeds or raw onions. Yeah, I know ~I'm picky. :) I used to love KFC's coleslaw here at home but lately it tastes like they just threw some mayo over in with plain cabbage; really bland. I like a strong vinegar based dressing for mine. Can you tell me how it tasted?
There was definately a celery seed flavor.

Yep, I've been writing a Dining Review and the link is in my signature :) It should be somewhere relatively recent on the dining boards :goodvibes

We didn't have a terrible place, we cared for one or two less than others but nowhere horrible - we loved 95% of the places we ate at :)

I love looking at Food Pics. I can't wait until we return in Sept.

Here are some photos from our trip last Sept.

We stayed at POR and here is a pic of our lunch at the Food Court.

The Muffaleta was okay, nothing special, pasta salad was kind of bland, the rice crispy treat was good.

Kids Spaghetti, grapes & applesauce, Must have been good, my son ate it all.

My favorite restaurant Boma: I can't remember everything but it was rib night and the ribs are great.

I know I took more photos, but I can't find them. Hmmm.

Am I the only one that looks at those rice krispy treats and marshmellows and such that you cover in chocolate and nuts/sprinkles, etc and just feels sick? Those don't appeal to me at all! The thought of all that sugar.

Yeah - that's just you!;)

I love those chocolate-covered marshmallows at Goofy's Candy Co.!

The thought of them doesn't make me sick, but I'm not real big on super sweet treats. I have nothing against sugar, but the flavor's gotta be mostly something besides "sweet" for me to really like something. :)

That said, I've never tried anything from Goofy's Candy Company, so I'm not qualified to judge whether they're flavorful or not.
