Disney Food Pictures...Part II

Haven't looked at all these amazing pix since last years visit,,
problem now is I am a "mandatory vegetarian" and will not
be able to enjoy the many marvelous meats!!!!!!! A little
tip please WITH PICTURES,,,,,of some good Veggie alternatives!!
I keep looking , but all I see is MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!

I would suggest you speak with the chef. They are very accommodating for those with special dietary needs........sometimes the chef may even create you something not on the menu. Just inform your server about the need and they will have the chef come speak with you.

I second this...I have heard of TJ making AMAZING custom dishes for Vegetarians at Boma!

This is the halibut at Artist Point. It was taken on Mother's Day this year.
It was delicious! I hate it when they fancy up fish too much and this was absolutely perfect.
It's already partially eaten since I didn't decide to take the pic until I saw how tasty this was and wanted to share. The pics aren't great b/c I took them with my phone

It was fantastic!!! I've been craving one ever since we got back... which is almost 2 years, now!

From what I remember, it tasted like delicious melted chocolate! Imagine eating really yummy, good quality milk chocolate, and imagine it melting in your mouth... that's what the chocolate tart tasted like!!

We're definitely going to Sci-Fi again this trip, just so I can have that for dessert!!

I went quite a few years ago with a couple of vegetarians and I remember that the San Angel Inn made something special for them because there were no meatless dishes on the menu. We had been preparing to leave after looking over the menu and the maitre d' ask if there was a problem. After we explained he said they would make us any of the dishes without meat. No problem at all, they were very glad to do it.

Thanks to everyone who is helping me through the
planning stages. It will be "A Whole New World" for me
but I will "Wish Upon a Star" that I won't Miss the
Meat Items too much!! I'll just have to "Listen to the Land"!!

From what I recall the steak was quite good, that said it wasn't in the same league as Le Cellier. Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre is not exactly cheap for what you get, but one has got to argue it's the atmosphere you go for (gotta love those corny sci-fi clips).

For anyone who has never did Sci-Fi, you must! That simple. Its like San Angel, Coral Reef, and Biergarten; its all about the atmosphere. Though I was disappointed with Biergarten, the ambiance is still hard to beat. Sci-Fi is just cool.

OMG!!! I am soooooo sorry! I hope everything will be ok for you, what a bummer to go to Disney and not be able to eat what your heart desires!!! I definitely agree with speaking to the chefs they should be able to offer some great alternatives for you. Have a great trip!!!!

We plan on going there this year, that is why I want to know about the food, but am also concerned about the size of the tables... as I am a "Pooh-Sized" person as are a few other members of my party, not to mention my DM is going to be using a wc this time around. I know thats slightly , but was also concerned about the food. Glad to know its more than just burgers for a table credit (I feel burgers should be cs credits only)

The tables at Sci-fi Dine-in have some "picnic" tables at the rear of the "cars" section you should be fine to get in with a wheelchair and be able to sit comfortably we saw others in there who were "Pooh Sized" . If in doubt mention it when making your ADRs.
