Not sure how they are paid for, same with SSR's new pool.

My understanding was Yes, all the door problems would be addressed.

Looks like they are planning on fixing things that have been common complaints here on the DIS.

This is gonna cost SOMEBODY...and it won't be DVC who built the place!

They knew from the models that the studio sink was not well received. My tourguide back in 2008 told me that was the biggest complaint about the BLT studio models.

I would have never purchased BLT if I mainly planned to stay in studios, the 1 bedrooms is what sold me on BLT. With the smaller contracts they are selling, Im sure others potentials looked at that studio and went the other way!

The location is sooo specific to the BLT buyers, that they cant just say, buy AKV or SSR instead!

The kitchenette set up is just plain gross on so many levels.

I agree though that the feedback was happening long before BLT opened. When we toured the models our guide also mentioned that at least 50% of the people commented about the kitchenette/bathroom sink setup as being undesirable.

Well, it also used to be part of the bathroom.
And it's actually where I suggested it go. I finally feel like DVC listened to me.

Now we just need the sheers and another towel bar in the bathroom.

Yep got it this afternoon, just had a chance to read it.

I am really happy that Disney is at least listening and making a change. I hope that us owners don't have to pay for the corrections and it would be nice if Disney told us up front where the money is coming from.

Moving a sink into the bathroom sounds like a pretty major change compared to adding a lock to the bathroom door. I'm glad they are making the change though because that sink in the kitchen instead of the bathroom was just weird.

Someone will have to pay, no doubt about that. The person who came up with the design and the person who approved that design really screwed up. It is amazing that they have to make so many changes on a place that has been open for only a year or so and is still in active sales.
