Ohh just had a great thought - you know they usually do salsa classes on board? Maybe they will do Zumba on the Fantasy!!!

FRIDAY AGAIN, AND JUST 546 DAYS TO GO!!!

Happy weekend everyone!!! Any plans? I'm getting my Christmas shopping done tomorrow!! We're heading to a mall two hours away, just to try the new coconut Krispy Kreme!!!!!

I"m actually thinking of becoming Zumba certified this summer. So if they don't have a class, maybe I'll snag a room and teach you all!

I will be so jealous if you teach zumba! I was thinking the other day I wished I still taught classes so i could do this!!! You will be great at it!!

Good luck with the last couple of weeks!! I can't believe how quickly the time has passed!!

I am totally in for Zumba. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking about starting.


By the way, Did you guys see this on the main thread:

"Just got off the magic and we saw the pirate ship at Castaway being torn to pieces on the side, kinda weird not seeing it there."

"No one is really sure about the FD but reports say that the Black Pearl will be taking its place soon. Filming for pirates 4 finished on wednesday i think. So it should be soon. The FD was in a bad state of direpair and It was time for something new."

"Our waiter told us that they were tearing down the pirate ship because of the age, and with the upgrades to Castaway Cay that they were replacing it with something special!"

"The Disney Dream will be assigning evening show times to guests just as it assigns dining times. Guests with main dining can view the show at 5 p.m. or 9 p.m. Guests with late dining can view the show at 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. If you are already booked on the Dream, your show time has been pre-assigned.

Cast Members will scan guests cards at the entrance to the theater. Guests wishing to change their show time can request the change, but it will not be guaranteed. "

"Disney will offer guests the use of "Portable Wave Phones" on board the ships of the Disney Cruise Line starting in December (December 16th on the Disney Wonder; December 18th on the Disney Magic.) The portable phones can send and receive phone calls and text messages from other Wave phones when used on board the ship or on Castaway Cay. The phones do not work off the ship, and are it doesn't sound like they can work with other carriers - you can use the device to call other Wave Phones on Disney's network, but not to call home.

Each stateroom will come equipped with two of the phones; concierge staterooms come with four phones. There is currently no charge to use the service, but you can rent additional units for $3.50 per unit per day if you need more than come with your room. There is a $250 charge per unit if they are lost / stolen / damaged, so that's something to consider before handing them to your pool-bound kids.

Disney is planning to use these phones to replace the pager system currently used by the Youth Activities department, which means that one parent/guardian must carry the unit at all times. If you don't have kids in Youth Programming and you don't want to use the phones, you can turn them in and Disney will turn off the service for your stateroom for the cruise."

The Wave phone is a great idea! If they were water resistant, they would be even better!

While I'll miss the flexibility of theater times, I do think that set times are a good idea from a crowd control stance.

EEK - sorry!! Its just . . . drum roll . . .531 days!!!

Just think, by the time i get back from vacation it will be under 500 days AND we can say "we're cruising NEXT year"!!!

Its been so quiet around here since the Holidays - you'd think we were all busy or something. Hope everyone has a great Christmas! We are heading to Orlando on Thursday - mostly a Universal Studios trip, but we've got three days planed for Disney!!

I am probably totally jumping the gun here since I am not booked yet but after reading about bracelets, FE's, zumba, girls tea, I couldn't help myself. I am planning to book this cruise just trying to figure out details. It will be the first cruise for me(shaunna), DH, DS(6 at sailing), and DD(4 at sailing). Just wanted to join in and express my interest in all these great ideas, I will check back once we are officially booked!

Welcome to our group! I'm a very excited about our growing bunch and we still have lots of time to add more.

We are cruising on the Magic the end of Jan - like 30ish days - and I totally wish my DIS family was coming. Funny how I'm more excited for our 2012 cruise, than our 2011 cruise. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pretty excited about our 2011 cruise too.

Shaunna - we have been trying to come up with a name that is about 2 or 3 words and would fit our cruise. Any ideas???

OH and by the way - MERRY CHRISTMAS , a little late. I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!!!
