I have never been on a thread before, so I hope I am doing this correctly!! We'll be joining all you fine folks in July. Me, my DH Richard, and our DD, Misha (12) are so excited! This will be our 2nd cruise. Last year, we did a four day cruise and were hooked!!

We remember all the door decor and the fish extenders the first time around, but we didn't know what they were. So after some research, here we are. I just learned about the FE group for our cruise and am hoping to be part of the list. Because we're cruising without other friends/family this time, I am excited at the opportunity of making some friends who share of love of DCL!

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi i just found out that i will be attending this cruise with my family, this our 3rd Disney Fantasy Cruise and we are so excited!!!!! We would love to be apart of the FE and we were apart of it on our last cruise. I don't have our room # yet but i would just like to say that i'm interested. I would like to inform you that i am 14 years old and doing this with my fathers approval because he is a grandpa and wanted me to handle it, but i did this last year and everything went smooth. I will find out our room # and get back to you.

Hi: I'm Tim and my wife Tracey and I will be joining all of you for the July 2nd Western Caribbean cruise for our 35th wedding anniversary.

This will be our third cruise, second with Disney and first time on the Fantasy. In 2010, we were booked on the Magic, but had to cancel the day before sailing due to my parents being in a car crash--trip insurance paid off for sure. We made-up that trip with an October 2011 Polynesian land/Magic cruise that was supposed to be Eastern Caribbean but was changed to Sint Maartin/Tortola/Castaway Cay at the last minute due to a storm. Our last was a Baltimore>Bermuda on RC, that was very disappointing.

We're DVC members (AKL) that relocated from the DC area to Stuart, FL about a year ago. I'm a federal teleworker (USPTO) and Tracey is semi-retired and works part-time from home for a Maryland-based promotions company.

We're interested in participating in the Fish Extender group and any meet-ups during the cruise. We have our special dining set and the Ray experience on Castaway. We'd be interested in any advice on tour-type excursions at Tortola or the USVI.

We're really looking forward to this cruise, especially since the port is only a coupe of hours from home. Last time, we AutoTrain-ed down and back and had a few days at the Polynesian prior to the cruise, so this time it will be much less complicated.

We are getting to the 90 day mark here, so I am hoping everyone is waking up and getting ready. Our first stop is Tortola and I have been scoping out some of the private snorkeling and exploring charters....and am wondering if any others are interested. There are 6 of us....probably room for 4 or 6 more. Wife and me, 4 grandkids...boy 17, girl 15, boy 8, and another girl who will be 3 and a half. Looking at some options, but my experience has been that the excursions from the Ship tend to be very crowded, and these charters/excursions are less so, and if we get enough of us we can charter the whole catamaran. They come with all the snorkel gear, drinks, and some with food. Please post here if interested.

As for Fish Extender... we have 4 kids. Let's get an idea of how many are interested. We are. The deal here is to buy a small gift...age appropriate....not costing much...for each of the participating kids. Then...we will post stateroom numbers and everyone participating will have a list, and can drop off the gift by placing it in the extender pocket...usually we try to do this before dinner or during lunchtime.....or sometimes at night. We usually put a few a day and we then come back to find someone has returned the favor. Usually a blast for the kids....and don't kid yourself, the older ones appreciate as well.

We are: Quinn will be 17, Simone will be 14 and a half, Elijah will be 8, and Greta who was 3 in February. (This is Quinn and Simone's 4th Disney Cruise with us) we are in 10096 and 10094 (Adjoining Family staterooms).

We want to join in! Our first Disney Cruise ever and we are very excited. Hubby has to work and my 18 year old who is now in college, decided to pass on this trip (teenagers!). My little world traveler (10 year old son) will be joining me on this trip. He is very excited but thinks he is too old for the character meets. I insisted he still try to be a kid at heart. He is a very kind and gentle boy and makes friends easily! He is Padi certified so we are thinking of a scuba excursion and also a shark one. We thought going through Costco presented some good prices but we are still open to other ideas.

A little about us...we are from the Bay Area. We have managed to travel to many places around the world but are just discovering Disney Cruises. We would love to meet families and to participate in any and all events. We booked our trip through Costco and frankly waited to long even though it is only January. The cost continues to go up and up. This is by far one of the most expensive vacations we have taken. So for now we are clipping coupons! LOL .

We will be on this cruise as well. It will be me, DH, and DD 5. This is our third Disney cruise, our daughter's second. We live in the Orlando area. Would love for our daughter to be able to meet some other kids. Last time her cousins came with us so it would be nice if she met some other kids.

Thanks Stew for suggesting we move over to DIS from another board that will remain nameless. I was wondering if the ship was going to be just us but glad to see some fellow cruisers.

Sailing on the 7/2 for my parents anniversary. It'll be the parents, my 2 sisters, our spouses and 3 children each (ages 1.5, 2, 3, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 10). It's a first cruise for all the kids and myself and the first time on Disney for all. Our family of 5 would participate in the Fish Extenders, though I'm not sure about the others. All four rooms for us right around 6600, with us in 6594 (not all right next door unfortunately). We will be at MK on 7/1 as well and staying at Port Orleans Riverside in advance of the cruise.

Our kids (1.5, 3 and 6) have known about the cruise since Christmas 2014 and have been playing "Disney Cruise" most days since. July can not get here fast enough. If you see a large group of Midwesterner's (pasty, corn-fed, pronounces a water fountain "bubbler") you've likely stumbled upon us. I'm apologizing now.
