Disney Fantasy July 2, 2016 Cruise Meet

Hi All!
We are a family of four from Cincinnati and first time Disney cruisers! We were hoping to join the fun of fish extenders. Our son Jack is 8 and our daughter Ellie is 7. Wanted to see if there was room for us? We will also be cruising with my brothers family who have 3 kids-haven't talked to them about this but if they were interested is there room for the 5 of them as well?
Thanks for any and all info!

Hi there,
I guess I am the Organizer here.....need the Stateroom number. List is growing....so find out about your brother's intentions. I will post an updated list of all FE participants soon. I am quite busy last little while, but will get a breather in a couple of days.

Julie,

Not too late. Give me kids names, ages, sex, and stateroom. Will get on the list. List will post later this week. Updating now.

Great! Our stateroom is #7516. Our children are Jack 8 and Ellie 7. My brother's family of 5 ARE in and she is signing them up today!
Thanks for your help!

We are traveling with mommywegs! Thank you so much for doing this!
We are in staterooms 7508 and 7510.
Kids are Kate (female 9). Riley (female 7). Drew (male 4)

Hello everyone..We are getting closer.....Here is the list so far. I have a large number so we will ask adults to hold off from here on out. Let's see where we are after Jun1 1st. Remember, if you participate then you will have a "gift" for each and every person who is on the list. It's OK for the staterooms to put gifts into the FE, but each stateroom (group) needs to have a gift for everyone on the list.

All FE participants. Please open the file above to see the list so far. It is a pdf file, so if you have trouble, let me know. Send me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you the list as it exists right now....in MS word or excel.

Hello all. Just booked our 2nd cruise today and I haven't stopped smiling! We are traveling with 2 children. Colton (boy) age 9 and his sister Adelyne (girl) also age 9. My name is Cathy and my husband goes by 'Scooter'. Stateroom number 10020.If the adults do a FE we are definitely in for that. My parents (Dave and Patty)are traveling in stateroom 10022 and are also interested. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help with the organization! Cathy

Hi all,

We will be scheduling a snorkel trip in Tortola. There are 6 of us...from ages 17 down to 3. If we get 6 or 8 more, we can rent our own catamaran and have fun for the day. If anyone interested, let me know.

Stewart
Hi Stewart-
Any chance you are still looking for someone to join you for snorkeling? My husband and I are traveling with two 9 year old kiddos. I also have my parents but don't think they would be interested-wondering what might be available. Thanks-Cathy

Hi everyone! We would like to join up (Stewart - I emailed you a week ago). It will be my husband, Mother in Law, and son (14), and myself. Cabins 8532 and 8534...Thanks :)

Hey everyone.....I have all the latest additions. A few things.

First, I think that we should try and not add more adults to the list...as it is getting unwieldy. I will add the ones on the thread, but feel free to drop off if you wish. This is really most fun for the kids, but for those who are still kids but trapped in a grown-up body...I'm fine. I will be uploading the list at the end to the next week...by June 3. I will e-mail anyone who needs it in a different format (stewiel@aol.com) Now....I am considering the rules here, and my DW is helping me (nudge, nudge). As of now, I am considering that each FAMILY UNIT (no matter one or two staterooms) will get at least ONE gift for each member on the list. You can certainly gift yourselves...but you need to get at least ONE gift for every other participant (not just the stateroom). I know we can go crazy running around the ship trying to find staterooms, so ONE is the minimum, but feel free to get TWO or THREE or FOUR...Or........you get it, right?

Now...I have never been on the Fantasy (Magic twice and Wonder once). DW and I see the VISTA CAFE and the couch seating just next to it (on Deck number 4) Seems that this would be a good place to have a "meet and greet" as asked by Peggy and Jim. We will bring name tags and markers....and will be there at 2:30. If GG is awake (she's 3) you can't miss her.....shocking RED HAIR (She says it's orange)...and will be with her brother Elijah (8), another red-head, and 2 older grandchildren (veterans on Disney) Quinn (17) and Simone (14.5).

Look for my post this week. Give me any suggestions you have. Have dome FE but never been the "organizer" so I am new at this stuff.

Hello-Just wanted to share how our last (also the only) FE was organized. Just as you mentioned, every family unit gave to every participant. The organizer divided us up to deliver on certain days. That way gifts were delivered somewhat evenly throughout the week.

Friends of ours just returned from a cruise and their FE program also became large. They decided to divide into two groups. Instead of giving/receiving from 40 plus people, they broke it down into a smaller number.

Just thoughts-we are very excited to be a part of this-again please let me know if we can help-thanks-Cathy

Stewart...noted the list is getting large, do we buy for everyone on the list once or for each day? How does it get split up?

Just a little reminder: The FE program is great fun, but should not be the focus of the cruise. Sooooo much else, and Soooo many lines (as I remember) for the princesses and other autographs. So, let's make this easy and fun. One gift for every person NOT in your stateroom. You can get more but you must have at least one for every participant. I will try to divide this up so that we do our "gifting " before the 6th day....and will list stateroom groups who should try and get their gifting done on a specific day, but once again, if you are "assigned" day 3 and you wish to give on day 1 and day 3 be my guest....however, you should gift on day 3.

I will extend deadline to this Friday at midnight (oh my gosh, this is so official, huh?) Of course, I am in California so my midnight might be your 3 AM....but then, whose really caring about all this anyway?

My grandson turned 8 today (Elijah) and getting ready for cruise. He had 6 hockey games in 4 days in a tournament and they did very well...so we've been living at ice rinks last few days. I think I have everyone's info, but a few people posted here earlier and then never came back. Still giving them time.

Will put up list Saturday (as I have it). If I made mistakes/omissions...I am sure I will hear from you.

Hello Stewart,

Have you considered splitting the group in half? The list is getting long. Think I may need an extra suitcase for all these goodies!

Thank,
Julie
