Disney Fantasy July 2, 2016 Cruise Meet

Hi everyone, my name is Maria. Me and my son, who's 12, are going on this cruise and my son is over the top excited! He is researching everything about the cruise, from door decorations to fish extenders. We are staying in stateroom number 6004. This will be both of our first real cruises(I've only been on weekend cruises) We hope to interact with everyone!!!!

Hi Maria. If you will be in FE program, give me your DS name and your stateroom. I will be posting a list soon for everyone to see. Remember, everyone in program brings something for the others in program. I would think we could open to anyone who wants to participate....Will be closing this June 1st.

Hi Everyone! I am Rowena and we are a family of 5 from Toronto plus my parents and we're first time cruisers. I'm interested to join the FE program but not entirely sure how it works. All I know is that I have to hang an FE and bring something for everyone in the program. :-) Is it done on a daily basis or just once during the entire sailing? We hope to meet new friends particularly for my kids ages 16, 13, and 4 y/o.

Typically, joining a FE groups means you agree to gift AT LEAST one gift to each room on the list one time during the cruise. Some FE group set up other rules (individual gifts; specific delivery dates; multiple deliveries; minimum/maximum cost of gift; whatever).

Don't know if this group has any specific requirement.

This is our second Disney cruise and we want to participate in the fish extender program. Need some guidance on where to sign up, please.

Rowena.....please give me the names of the kids, tell me if they are boy or girl, and their ages. Also, need to have the information regarding the stateroom. You can get an FE from any one of a number of "vendors" on line...or make one yourself. Just need a pocket for each of the children so we can leave gifts. What we will do is to participate, just get at least 1 small item for each of the other participants and leave it in their FE "Pouch" any day or night during the first few days. We usually go in afternoon or dinner time, so there is a surprise for the recipient when they get back to their room. We do it anonymously, so it's like a "secret Santa".

Please give me the names, ages, gender and stateroom.

Hi all,

We will be scheduling a snorkel trip in Tortola. There are 6 of us...from ages 17 down to 3. If we get 6 or 8 more, we can rent our own catamaran and have fun for the day. If anyone interested, let me know.

Thanks Stew for suggesting we move over to DIS from another board that will remain nameless. I was wondering if the ship was going to be just us but glad to see some fellow cruisers.

Sailing on the 7/2 for my parents anniversary. It'll be the parents, my 2 sisters, our spouses and 3 children each (ages 1.5, 2, 3, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 10). It's a first cruise for all the kids and myself and the first time on Disney for all. Our family of 5 would participate in the Fish Extenders, though I'm not sure about the others. All four rooms for us right around 6600, with us in 6594 (not all right next door unfortunately). We will be at MK on 7/1 as well and staying at Port Orleans Riverside in advance of the cruise.

Our kids (1.5, 3 and 6) have known about the cruise since Christmas 2014 and have been playing "Disney Cruise" most days since. July can not get here fast enough. If you see a large group of Midwesterner's (pasty, corn-fed, pronounces a water fountain "bubbler") you've likely stumbled upon us. I'm apologizing now.

Hi,

Please give me names, ages, tell me if boy or girl, and the stateroom number for those participating in the FE program. Please do this soon. Remember, if you are "in" then you need to get gifts for all the others.

Skye is a girl. Thanks so much for doing this!

Is the FE list just for the kids? If not, we'd like to participate too:

Tim (53) and Tracey (50) in stateroom 6070.

Tim and Tracey,

All you have to be is young at heart. I will absolutely include you in the FE program, and will post an updated list by next week.

Only 2 months to go, gang.

OK occasional visitors and frequent visitors. Two months to go.

Our Grandkids are already counting the days...amazing thing, it's the teens who are most excited. DW and I are a little nervous taking 4 of these munchkins, but we believe the older ones will be of help. However, looking at how many teens are in our group, that may be wishful thinking.

If you want to be in the FE program, please let me know. Kids names, ages, Male or female, and stateroom buys you a ticket. Adulta who want to participate are OK.....just remember...you buy a surprise gift for each member in the program...or make the gift...

I forgot to give you mine and Tom's ages. I am 43 and he's 39. Again, thanks so much for doing this.

Hello,

We are getting to the 90 day mark here, so I am hoping everyone is waking up and getting ready. Our first stop is Tortola and I have been scoping out some of the private snorkeling and exploring charters....and am wondering if any others are interested. There are 6 of us....probably room for 4 or 6 more. Wife and me, 4 grandkids...boy 17, girl 15, boy 8, and another girl who will be 3 and a half. Looking at some options, but my experience has been that the excursions from the Ship tend to be very crowded, and these charters/excursions are less so, and if we get enough of us we can charter the whole catamaran. They come with all the snorkel gear, drinks, and some with food. Please post here if interested.

As for Fish Extender... we have 4 kids. Let's get an idea of how many are interested. We are. The deal here is to buy a small gift...age appropriate....not costing much...for each of the participating kids. Then...we will post stateroom numbers and everyone participating will have a list, and can drop off the gift by placing it in the extender pocket...usually we try to do this before dinner or during lunchtime.....or sometimes at night. We usually put a few a day and we then come back to find someone has returned the favor. Usually a blast for the kids....and don't kid yourself, the older ones appreciate as well.

We are: Quinn will be 17, Simone will be 14 and a half, Elijah will be 8, and Greta who was 3 in February. (This is Quinn and Simone's 4th Disney Cruise with us) we are in 10096 and 10094 (Adjoining Family staterooms).

Stewart
Robert,

Re you interested in Joining us on a day of snorkeling in Tortola. Our 6 and your 6 would be enough to rent the whole boat and set up our own day as we wish. They promise to get us back in plenty of time. We would probably have enough room for a few more.

For the newbees....Get a Pr=irate costume for the kids for Pirate night. It's a blast for them. We all deck out and actually some cruisers have stopped us and asked if we were characters!

Get signed up for FE program.

Stewart
