Stateroom doors... Does anyone know how big the porthole on the stateroom door with the room number on it is? I want to make a magnet to go around it but I have no idea on the size. Thanks.

I Googled it - one person from disboards said it was 7 1/4 inches and another sized it at 7 1/2 inches. I am not sure which ship they were talking about

So Im just wondering now that the fe list is closed will there be a specific day that each of us would deliver the fe gifts, I know some groups have done this before so that you would be sure to have something in your bag each night or day of the cruise, so that into the cruise everyone hadn't already delivered and bags were hanging empty, especially for the kiddies this was the main concern. So anyone else want to add to this? Perhaps if 4thelove of Disney wouldn't mind giving each of us a specific day to deliver that would work out, I know Id be happy with whatever day he chose for me! What does everyone else think?

IDK. Even if we were given a certain day, we'd probably just hand them out when it was convenient/easy for us. We like the surprise of not always having something in our bag, makes it better when there is something!

I have never heard of giving out specific days to everyone to deliver their gifts, I guess it might work for some, but I would find it too constricting and not very flexible.

I'm new to this FE thing so I don't know what would be best. I think assigned dates would make it a bit difficult for some. I know I would prefer distributing my gifts at the beginning of the cruise.

I've never heard of distribution dates either for the FE. I think the majority of the participants would prefer to give them out at their convenience since there is so much going on during the cruise. But that is my opinion. If there is a consensus otherwise, I can certainly add dates - although I am not sure if anyone would follow the schedule lol.

Personally, for our family my kids pick the night that we deliver the FE gifts and we usually do it in the wee hours of the morning. So it really depends on how their day went and how tired they are. From our previous 2 cruises, we received gifts each night (except for the embarkation day)

I like to pass out my FE when I have time. I agree it can be hard to assign people what day to pass out the gifts as your plans can change during the day. In the past it just seems to work out that there are deliveries all week and you will find items in your FE.

Hey guys my name is Gina and my husband , my at the time time of cruise 22 month old daughter and I will be on this amazing cruise! We have been on 4 other cruise 2 before the baby and 2 with her. Our first was a 7 night and now we are excited to be going back on one. I have been dying to go on The Fantasy thought it wasn't going to happen and BAM OGT made the price right. Our last cruise was a disaster we took 9 other family members and realized this is our piece of heaven on earth and need to make up for that incident so we are doing a second cruise just the three of its and are so very happy! So excited it's our first Merry time cruise the past have been regular or halloween I'm excited!

Do people bring their cellphones? I downloaded the navigator onto my phone but worry about some expensive bill when i get home for using it? When I travel I usually get travel packs but do these work out at sea?

As long as I get room updates - I will continue to update the FE. I hope people get them to me sooner than later.

I do. I put my iPhone in airplane mode and just use the ships wifi. I get a travel pack too and will only turn on and off the airplane mode as needed.

From what I have read on Disboards the navigator app runs on the 'free limited wifi' onboard the ship (but you need to purchase a wifi package to use the ships wifi to access more than the navigator app). I do not have first hand knowledge of this though.
