Disney Dream - June 2, 2013 - 4 Night

Our kids were brainstorming in the car today about what they are going to do on the cruise. It went from living at the pool to the kids club to the shows to the restaurants...oh, they have no idea just how great this is going to be. I get excited just listening to them!!:yay:

Hey there,

First time Cruising! It will be Me, my DW, my DD11, DS8 sailing for my sons birthday (he will turn 8 on the cruise). We are also bringing along both sets of grandparents with us. Can't wait to join you guys.

Sorry for being MIA for awhile. My best friend goes to school in Grenada and she left on Sat, so the last couple of weeks have been dedicated to her.

The FE List has been updated. No new additions. My cabin number has been added and there has been a deletion. GoofyMurillos (Jazmin and family) will no longer be travelling with us.:(

The FE List

I read back on these post and I cannot see what the FE list is? Can I ask what it is or is it a secret ;-) KIDDING! Just wondering.

Thanks

DISLUV

Oh My Goodness How crazy am I to not figure that one out and I just read right over all the references to it. Sorry guys n gals

We just booked our 2nd Disney cruise today for Jun 2nd. So excited! It will be my retired parents, me, my husband, and daughter who will be turning 8 on last day of cruise.

My DS will be turning 8 on the 2nd day of the cruise. We brought our DD to WDW for her birthday which falls in FEB. But a June birthday at WDW just seemed to crowded for us so A'Cruising we will GO!!!!

Anyone done jet ski or parasailing at castaway cay. Is it worth the money. What about atlantis water park. Super expensive but i have older kids with me. Is there time to do anything else at atlantis....
:earboy2::earboy2::earsgirl::earsgirl:

So ready for this trip. Excited we are staying at new art of animation after the cruise. My family are foodies so deluxe dine for us. Trying everything new for us....
celebrating our 25 th wedding anniversary and daughters birthday.

I was told that the stuff on Castaway is good to do (please ANYONE correct me if I am wrong) and that Atlantis water park was not worth it. Again that is not first hand knowledge but a friends recommendations.

our goals for excursions on this trip are simple:

DS - Swim with Dolphins
DW - Watch it all happen
DD - Snorkle
ME - Parasail, snorkle, visit the islands

Alright fellow travelers...time to get our Disney brains warmed up with Disney Fun Facts!! (Let me insert my disclaimer here: I am just pulling these from the web and am not responsible for mis-information :))

Toady we will get 3:
1. The ship is inspired by the classic 1930's ocean liners
2. It is 1,115 feet long
3. The ship can hold up to 4,000 passengers

This weeks fun "did you know" moment: There are magical portholes in the inside staterooms that offer a real time view of the outside of the ship.

The last time we cruised with Disney we had an inside room, I would have loved to have a magic porthole.

My daughter will be turning 8 Just after we are done cruising, but we are celebrating her birthday on our cruise! I wish I could celebrate my birthday on the Dream!

Hello fellow cruisers, here is the week's fun fact: Sorcerer Mickey, that is hanging off the back of the Dream, weighs about 2500 pounds :smickey:

We just bought or plane tickets!! I love these baby steps towards our vacations.

So the fun fact for the week: The ships fireworks show is choreographed to pirate music. Did you know that they don't do the fireworks show on the Alaska cruises? pirate:

Just booked our trip for DH, DD(12), DD (8), and me. This is our first cruise and we are soooo excited!

Hello all! My family of four, plus my brothers family of four and our mom and dad are all going on this cruise. Glad to be "on board" with the rest of you.

Oops! Guess I'm supposed to spell it out like this (correct me if I'm wrong):

I will be crusing with my DW, DS(12) and DD(8) as well as my brother and his DD(10) and DD(6). Our parents will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

I don't do Facebook, but I'll have my wife add the page so we can stay up-to-date. Also plan on participating in the FE, but don't think I can send PM's yet. I'll get there, just give me time!
