Disney Dream - June 2, 2013 - 4 Night

We just booked our 2nd Disney cruise today for Jun 2nd. So excited! It will be my retired parents, me, my husband, and daughter who will be turning 8 on last day of cruise.

Hello all! This will be DH and my second time on DCL (13 years ago) but the first for DD (9) and DS (7). The kids invited Grandma along. It will be great!! Now the waiting begins...
So glad to see such an active board already!!!

Our family is excited to go and celebrate 3 graduations for our family. DD (26) from med school, DS (23) from college and DS (18) from high school. I am really looking forward to the fun! :dance3:

We just booked our first cruise! Our family of 5 (DD ages 13,9,9). I'm so glad I found this site and look forward to any advice.

We are less than a year out!! Seems like it will never get here!!

Hello All,

Just wondering if any of those going on the June 2 2013 Dream sailing have heard of FE's. Is anyone interested in starting a group? It is all new to me as this is our first Disney cruise. Not sure how the whole process works.

We are DVC members since 1999 and just recently added on to our membership at AKV. Already spending too much time scouring the disboard for helpful information.:surfweb:

We got cruise planning documents today!! Also in the package from our fantabulous travel agent was a navigator from his recent trip to WDW & tour of the Dream. Not that we can make any reservations, but it was fun to get something official from Disney.

I am familiar with FE's. It's nice coming back to room and finding little gifts waiting for you.:cheer2: Disney Cruise I was just on, there were 25 cabins. If you like I could start it up. Anyone interested send me a PM. I have made up a Facebook page just for this cruise. Should anyone like to be added just pm me :wave2: Great way to meet and get to know people before cruising:chat:

Hey all! So looking forward to trying out the Dream and meeting all of you wonderful disers!!! If all are okay with it I would love to put together the FE list for this cruise. I decided I would set it up as a google doc and all would be able to keep an eye on it and notice as the group changes.

I'm gonna post this info that I would need. I'm off to work quite soon so I will put together some information tonight about FEs for those of you who have yet to participate or this is your first cruise!

PM me if you are interested.

In the subject line please put FE LIST ADDITION for Bahamas June 2, 2013

The colors are just to show you my information...you don't need to do it in color

then give me the following information:

Dis name: SheaBear
Real world name: Shanea
Cabin #: example 7631
Who is sailing with you?: Shanea-26, Ginny (DM), Katelyn-23 (DF)
Ages of any children: (this helps with determining age appropiate gift)
Any special information such as food allergies: Ginny: allergic to soy (although she is not)

On the sail date, I will put copies of the most current version on my cabin door. Or if all decide to have a meet and greet I will also have them there.

FE Information

You don’t have to be crafty to participate. Purchasing something is completely acceptable. I’ve received gifts of postcards and snacks from a Disers home town to a handmade picture frame decorated with all things Disney.

Spend what you are comfortable with.

You can do as many gifts as you like. You can do one per cabin or gifts for each person in the cabin. It is completely up to you. For example, if I were doing something for a house or a family gift, I may only do one gift per family. But if I were doing jewelry or something I may do per individual.

Your gifts can be anonymous or they could be marked. I like to receive ones that tell me who they are from just so I know who I can thank for them. But it is completely up to you.

If you are concerned about space luggage wise, focus on the size of your gifts. If that is still not an option you can ship to the port. Or for those of you doing a pre WDW visit, you can look into shipping to your resort.

It is all in good fun, so don’t stress about anything. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or PM me. I’m glad to help in any way.

Hope the information helped!

So I guess I am a few posts short to be able to PM anyone yet. I guess I am really still "earning my ears". I will be adding our family to the list once I get my 10 posts in :)
