Booked this cruise sooooooo long ago and I can't believe it's coming up now so quickly!!!!
My Daughter Ryleigh, 7 and myself, Denise, 42 will be traveling for our Mother/Daughter Disney Cruise!!!
This will be our 4th cruise on Disney and cannot wait for the DREAM cruise!
I'm a little bummed they didn't have a 7 day option, but we'll take the 5 day!!!

We are SOOOOOOOOOOO close to that "less than 6 months" mark! (for me it's some sort of milestone!!).

I'm not phased by the Dutchman being gone but I've seen it- our first cruise it wasn't there / didn't even exist and CC was still magical and wonderful! It was a nice photo op, but unless I could walk around on it, it just didn't make me all excited.

I'm looking forward to all of the enhancements on CC since our last cruise in 08. While the cabanas are nice, the cost is just too high to warrant it - I can find LOTS of other things to spend that money on!!!!

Funny things I think about - the other day I turned to DH and said "do you know what I'm really looking forward to on our cruise?" My answer was THE SHOPPING INFORMATION SESSION!! For some reason I find that SO much fun! (yes, it's sometimes the small things). Last cruise I missed it and had to watch it on TV - just wasn't the same!

What is this? This is our first cruise so it's all new and exciting but I've not heard anything about this. We have started buying Disney gift cards to put on our account so hopefully that will help us stick to our budget. I'm thinking most people will stay on the ship in Nassau so we will be able to do some of the excursions we have looked at.

The Shopping Info session? It's a 1 hr live presentation during which time you get a bag with coupons and the 'shopping specialist' (sorry, but I can't remember what she's really called but that's close enough) - she goes over the best deals in Nassau for jewelry, t-shirts, etc.. goes over any specials going on - lets you know where you WONT get ripped off. The fun thing is that they have give aways for people in the audience. The last time I went (that I was actually in the audience) one woman won a pair of gold earings.

Anything purchased in Nassau does not go to your shipboard account - we use travelers cards for that, and take only 1 credit card with us. On our honeymoon we bought our first digital camera. Got an $800 package for about $450.

These gatherings are happening more and more. There was one in Philly 2 monts ago where over 600 opera singers and choirists gathered in an historical store and sung with the famous Philly Pipe Organ. I'll see if I can find the link. With all the craziness in the world today I'll take every opportunity I can to get uplifted.

This one occurred on Oct 30, 2010. Lots of people gather all the time to listen to the pipe organ, the shoppers on this day were definitley greeted with a wonderful surprise. Really wish I could have been there to witness it.
