DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

I checked on the shuttle and it was $69 per person...:rolleyes1 So I set up a private shuttle for us too go down on Saturday too the Radisson and then they will pick us up at the port and take us back after the cruise..

For 5 of us it is $170 round trip..Averages $34 per person...I can handle that and I have used them before...They were wonderful and very reliable.:thumbsup2

Let me know if you need the name.:goodvibes

Hello fellow cruisers,

We don,t think we will be able to take any extra days for WDW..:guilty:
I don't think I could get any more days off from work.

Does anyone know if Disney offers the free shuttle from the airport to the port?

We have taken it to WDW before, but didn't notice if its offered to the ship.

I'm off to work, but will be dreaming of this trip...:cloud9:

TTFNpaw:

Unfortunately they do not offer it for free. It was $35.00 per person on our last cruise, we took it from AKL to the port. I believe the same applies from the airport. If you have a large family it is probably more cost effective to either rent a car or use a shuttle company.

Thanks guys for the info..

I guess that's one more expense to plan for. Oh well we will figure it all out I'm sure.:thumbsup2
The planning is part of the fun!:cool1:

more Fridays until we are the First to Dream it Twice.

Someone started a countdown on my last cruise and thought it was a great idea. So every Friday I'll post the countdown....

I will add the numbers up this weekend (about the FE's)
Sorry everyone, I've finally finished. Crazy week!
See the next post or in the orig FE post.
We are definately going to join the FE exchange! I started working on our gifts this weekend and my husband thinks I have lost my mind! :) He said "Isn't it still six months away?!?" The answer: "Yes, it is, but this will help the time go by faster for me!" I will PM our info ASAP.
I know my DH thinks I'm crazy too! But yes, you're right, it does help make the time go faster.
How was your vow renewal? Would you recommend Disney Weddings?
It's not like we're going to back out now, just wondering what to expect?!
We chose Disney because you can't get better service anywhere, was that the case for your ceremony??
To be honest, it was perfect for us. My original wedding was super crazy and I planned everything out. Onboard the DCL, it is a mixed blessing, they do everything for you and there's not too many decisions to be made. So if you want lots or any customizations outside their predefined list of choices, it's a pain to get it. But on the other hand, it was easy peasy, not too many choices, the wedding coordinator handled everything and it was great. So it kinda depends on the type of wedding you want. It was magical though. I could have a mix of disney music and not, a mickey cake topper, mickey wedding band... and people didn't think I was crazy! At my orig wedding I had pooh and tigger as my cake topper and tables named for 100 acre woods char ... and my friends and family thought we were crazy. :confused3 Anyway, we loved it! It was definitely magical for us.

more Fridays until we are the First to Dream it Twice.

woo hoo! that makes it so real! thanks!

Wow that's a lot of families and people. I know there's already been discussion on this topic, but admittedly, I'm being extra lazy this Saturday morning to look back on previous pages to recall the details.

Anyway, are we planning to break up everyone into different FE groups to keep the cost and delivery time aspect reasonable? With the bigger ship, perhaps two or three groups based on geographical location?.?. Just a thought. We're just excited to be part of the group.

Thank you sooo much for organizing this. I am doing personalized gifts and am wodering if we have to wait until 2-3 week to get names of everyone. I am alittle worried that I will not have time to complete everything. I have started working on them but am kinda stuck until I get names and ages. Like kids under 10, my gift will not work if they are babies. I am sorry for this request but if there is anyway to get the names and ages of the kids I would love it. As I am not personalizing the adult gifts.
Thanks so much either way.

I am pretty sure my mom and dad will want to do FE, I have to get her on here to post. We still have plenty og time to decide I assume?

Yes, I would think so. I think the plans were we going to cut it off a few weeks before the cruise to make sure everyone had time to plan.

I don't think that was in the original plans. Let me know what everyone thinks. I'm okay with the number right now. If we decided to split up the group, I would probably still sign up for both groups. What's everyone think about this?
