I'm okay with splitting up the FE group or not - either wa, I'm flexible. I'll go with the masses!!!

I can not WAIT until we are under the 6 month mark.....

Thanks for the pictures Philatigger. How did you find Magic to be? There's been a lot of talk lately about it being in need of major maintnenance.
SO jealous of those who have cruises before our Dream cruise, we're struggling with the wait!.

To be honest, I did notice things that I was surprised to see, especially after dry dock. Some of the decks just didn't look crisp. The railings had paint dripping, rust in some spots. Our bathroom shower tile needed a good once over and the floor could use a replacing. Just a lot of little things I was surprised to see from Disney. We were fortunate to not have to deal with the smells, but I did notice it at times in the hallway. I did hear that during dry dock they did not redo all of the staterooms. In Disney's defense and other cruise lines, these ships take a lot of abuse from the passengers. I see so many people with no respect for property. It has to be very difficult to try and keep up with the general repairs and passenger damages. I have heard on numerous occasions passengers say I paid for this crusie and I will do what I want. :confused3 (chuck, get off the soap box...lol)

That being said it definitely did not bother us, we had a great time. We make the best of all situations. Would take a lot for us to not enjoy ourselves. We just focus on the good. We would not let this impact my decision to cruise on her again.

Wish we could squeeze in another cruise before the Dream, but the money is not there. We are doing a Med cruise in the fall on RCI and we have a diseny wedding in August. The good thing though, 2 trips to Disney in 2011. :cool1:

more Fridays until we are the First to Dream it Twice.

Well I have to say I am a little disappointed that the Flying Dutchman has "left" Castaway Cay. My DH and I were looking forward to seeing it. Our kids are excited that it's gone (too scary looking for them). Oh well, from what I've read the views from the ship will be better without it blocking the island.

I have been following this too, the rumors floating around are that the Black Pearl will be replacing the FD. Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. It would be cool to see the BP, but we won't lose any sleep over it if it isn't there.

We always stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge before our cruises, this time we decided to stay at the port (Country Inn and Suites). We snagged a really good price on a suite last night :cool1:. When we booked, they told us we could not make a reservation for the shuttle until we checked in. Does anyone know if this is true? Rate was unbelievable to turn down but does not include the cost of the shuttle. It's only $4.00 to the port per person, even with this cost we still made out really good.

I thought I remembered reading that others were able to make a reservation early.

That's how we feel too. I would love to see it but that's not why we chose to go on this cruise. Way more to be excited about than whether the FD or BP will be there to greet us at CC:cheer2:

We agree, but I would guess some of the new cruisers may be a little disappointed. Until they see the rest of the island and they will forget all about it....:jumping1:
