Who else is super excited about this? The closer it gets, the more and more excited I'm getting! I'm going to post my getting to know you questions today. My oys will be 10 and 12 and are looking for other boys to hang with!

General GTKY. (Getting To Know You)


1. Where do you live? Littleton, Colorado

2. Are you married? How long? 15 yrs.

3. Do you have any children? Ages? Will they be cruising with you? Two boys, ages 11 and 13


4. Do you have any pets? A yellow lab, a golden retreiver, a cat and a turtle.

5. What do you do for a living? Work? Stay at home? I teach fitness classes, personal train and do hypnotherapy, which gives me adequate time at home too!

6. Did you always want to be a XXX? (your profession) Yep, it's perfect!

7. What is your favorite movie? Lots to love, but Enchanted is adorable!

8. What is your favorite book? I read a lot and I love Pat Conroy, most classics, Jane Austen, and on and on...

9. What is/are your favorite TV show(s)? Glee!

10. What are your favorite foods? Mexican, Italian and sea food

11. Any particular cuisines or dishes that you like the most? Healthy and yummy are the best.

12. What type of music do you listen to? Do you have a favorite group/singer/band etc.?

13. Where did you go to school/college? Univ. of Northern Colorado and University of Denver

14. Do you like sports? What's your favorite football team? Not so much...

15. How many siblings do you have? I'm the only one!

16. What do you like to do in your spare time? Spare time? I've heard of that but I don't know what it is?

17. Any interesting places that you've traveled to lately? Rome was fabulous and I can't wait to go back!


18. What is your attitude when it comes to money? Are you a spender or a saver? Both. I like to save so when there is something fabulous that I want i can buy it without stress.

19. When is your birthday? jan. 30

20. What are your preferences when it comes to clothes and fashion? comfortable but cute. Oh, and bling. I dearly love all sorts of bling!

23. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? EXTROVERT!

21. Are you an outdoors person? Yes, as long as the weather is comfortable. I'm not into suffering but I do love nature.

22. Are you an adventurous person by nature or do you prefer playing it safe? I love adventure within reason. If there are snakes or a chance for serious bodily harm, then count me out!

23. What was your childhood like? I loved my childhood. It was magical and fun and I want to create the same for my children (as well as myself...)

24. How many Disney (or other cruises) have you been on? This will be my 3rd Disney cruise. I love them and I'd like to go on many more.

25. How often have you been to Walt Disney World? I lost count, but maybe 7 times?

I already 'knew' this but we just got an email tonight re: the release date of the new Pirates Movie and it's a week before our cruise so I'm SO hoping (and super excited) about seeing it on board the Dream!!! I'm hoping it's playing- I can't imagine it wouldn't be. It was just one more little thing that brought that bubble of excitement to the top again!

I already 'knew' this but we just got an email tonight re: the release date of the new Pirates Movie and it's a week before our cruise so I'm SO hoping (and super excited) about seeing it on board the Dream!!! I'm hoping it's playing- I can't imagine it wouldn't be. It was just one more little thing that brought that bubble of excitement to the top again!

We were on the Magic Oct 16th and Secretariat was released on the 8th and it was playing on the ship. So I would be surprised if it is not playing.

Now I feel like this number is getting lower too fast. It seems like it has been such a long wait, but now it's speeding by. With Christmas here, I haven't been focusing too much on paying on the cruise. But, now I do need to get back on it.

This is the storm the weathermen predicted for Christmas Day and then changed to Monday & now that it started they are saying it was in one of their computer maps that it COULD come today.

Looks like the storm tracked too far east--we got nuthin' out near Dulles airport. Of course, the "insurance" (AKA snowshovel) we bought today probably has something to do with it!!
