WooHoo - thanks for the post. I was able to make ps for July. My son is thrilled that we will be canceling our lunch with the yucky princesses!!

I hope they are taking ps for this weekend. I just called a friend who is leaving tomorrow to let her know.

BEWARE, everyone -- it is unfortunately not the same menu. I was so disappointed to hear this! It is now a different menu and you pick an entree from a set few. You get breadsticks to start and the salad is extra. Dessert is served family-style, sounds like a fondue. There was no mention of characters!

There is a review and menu on Allearsnet.com. I was looking forward to going to GG but will wait to here more.

I don't know if you realise but the garden grill has a new up market menu. You still pay one price then you have a choice for the 3 courses.
I'm really sad I'd heard so many good things about the old style menu.

The new menu is one reason I am anxious to go.
Sure the old one was fine. But it is nice to have something different offered too.

I really don't care about the characters one way or another. But the CM mentioned when I was booking that the characters can change. And from pictures it looks like a character meal still.

Oh, I might try this place again. It's been years since we've eaten there (before it was a character meal). There is something in Disney's barbeque saue that I am allergic to, so I've avoided it. The ravioli and the beef strip sound yummy!

Thank you! I am so glad that it is. I recommended the Garden Grill to someone who is leaving tomorrow for their first and maybe only trip to WDW. I would have felt awful if they would have gotten their and it wasn't a character meal.
