I happen to think these papers
haynay_FTBS_JumpAddOn_preview_72.jpg

which coordinate with the Digitreats Jump kit are awesome for Playhouse Disney pics and POP century pics (or any other bightly colored Disney venue!). Haynay is actually a new member here on the DIS, maybe we can convince her to make us some more fun Disney-ish stuff!! Here is a link to Haynay's papers and Digitreats.

There are a few SBC+ users including me! You can export to any site and print anyhwere that you can print a picture:) You can also import anything that is a png, jpg, or gif into SBC+. You can't open any Photoshop files in it.

If you get a chance labdogs42 has a link at the bottom of their layouts and they are awesome! I also post mine on the www.flikr.com - Disney digi-scrappers.

If you have any questions on the software - we can help you!

Thank you so much!!! Right this second, I am working on trying to make a "It's a small world" LO..... not sure how to go at that...
looking all over for other for inspiration....

thank you so much!

(Any Small World Ideas for me? I'm Stuck and tired!!! :badpc:

If I remember right it was a very lovely and free kit with horse drawn carriages and castles and lots of other princessy stuff. I believe the designer was Mandy Rae Designs, but she removed her blog apparently.

Can I tell you how much fun little brag books are? I love them! Yesterday I was doing all of the last minute stuff to get my DH off on a mission trip to S. Africa (he just left... sniff) I thought, oh no... I need to get some pictures in a little book for him to take with him! So, I go to my 6x4 QP folder (mostly random freebies) and plop, plop, plop, upload to CVS.com walk across the street from my office and Wah-lah! A beautiful album! I stuck them in one of those CM Picfolio Minutes albums that can set up like an easel...
So easy...

Oh, Britt, or anyone who's crazy familiar with her stuff...
Which kits of yours are, um which kits do you find to be especially great for Disney LOs? I know they all could work, but ya'll know what I mean...:rotfl2:
ETA: So far I have in the cart: Dreams Do Come True, I'm A Dreamer, Her Royal Highness, Leave the World Behind, ... Basically everything... $72 worth. I think I'm going to have to break it up a bit! lol. What do you guys recommend as the "Starter" of the "kits that would be good for Disney LOS?"

I think I'm going to start with: Lyrical, Dreams Do Come True, Leave the World Behind, and We Can Fly! What do you think?

I use Leave the World Behind a LOT!! Don't forget to pick up Britt's freebies that coordinate with some of these kits on her blog I also have my list of favorite Disney kits (mostly Britt's!) on my blog

Thanks! I'll makes sure that I have them all! I had to go buy myself a external hard drive! lol. The freebies are what finally inspired me to get into this and now I HAVE to have those kits! I honestly like buying from someone that I "know." I probably wouldn't if I didn't...

BTW... I LOVE your siggie pic! Didn't you say that you will be in the World at the same time as us? Where are you staying? POP again? I loved your POP LO.

Yep, I'll be at POP 9/19-26. Did we discuss sharing a Photopass? If you want to, let me know!!

I am constantly going to Leave the World Behind for papers. The papers in that kit are just awesome. I would definately get that one first. I use Shiver Me Timbers a lot too for all my piratey needs (and neutral color paper needs), which are more then one would think, with only boys! I don't have much need for the princess sets, so I didn't get that one. I did get the High School Never Ends and there are so many uses with the doodles and papers, I just avoid the couple pink things in there usually! When I look for bling, I do usually go to Dreams Do Come True, I really like the glitter in there.

I've got a few others, she gave a couple as gifts for challenges here and if you send her LOs with her stuff on them she gives a freebie out for that too... she calls it "show offs" on her blog, so check that out too. And those aren't toss offs, they are regular stuff she's about to put in the store. (usually smaller items tho: alphas, templates, etc). And as Jessica said, Britt has tons of freebies on her blog, usually coordinating with her new releases.

I'm guessing from your sig pic that you have both a princess and a pirate... so just pick stuff that you think you will use first and start building your collection! I just did a 20 page shutterfly and all but 3 pages (maybe 4) are all Britt's stuff and I think they look pretty good. I even cheated with a couple QPs from HSNE!

I'm actually heading a share over on TGM. It's just a few people going the same time as us! lol. I'd love for you to join me! It's just so easy for me to lead because I have a tower here at work that can burn 6 at a time super fast. I love POP. DH & I were in Orlando for a conference in May and we stayed there! lol. I had to have a little fix! And we'll take a group back there this Sept for Night of Joy. I need to book that with that new code.

ok, So, you love SBC+... I have it and I like it ok. I'm going to keep watching you because I want to love it. Your freebie Mickey Template is great. Mind if I pass it on to my CMC? (Through your blog of course...) She'd love it! lol. I'm a PS CS2 girl... I use it at work and I'm just used to it. I would definately recommend SBC+ to anyone though. Especially starters. I could NEVER EVER in a MILLION years teach my MIL PS CS2, but I'd have hope for SBC+!

Fran, QPs are not cheating! lol. Work smarter, not harder!

I love SBC+ because it is simpler to learn than PSE. I have PSE, too and I have used it to make some elements for myself to use in SBC+. I like that things are simplified specifically for scrapping in SBC+. you don't have to think about the layers as much, the choices are limited a bit (which I think is good), the tools make sense to a scrapper...If you know HOW to use CS2, it is the superior tool for sure, but for those of us who don't already know it and want to jump right in, I think SBC+ is the way to go. I'm sure I'll get more into PSE as I go, but I'm so glad SBC+ is there to help me crank out the pages! I really like those gray photo boxes they have in SBC+. I like how easy it is to crop and zoom the pics in those boxes. I also cheat with SBC+, I found it easier not to load all of my "stuff" in there and just keep ACDSee open at the same time, then I drag and drop my elements from ACDSee into SBC+.

I plan to take some of my LO's that I really like and turn them into more templates for my blog, so feel free to pass the link on!

I'll PM you about the Photopass share!

Oh, I didn't know you could drag and drop into SBC+... I wish that I could import a LO from another program. Maybe a .jpg I can insert it as a paper... I love the quality of the Storybooks when they are printed. I did my 2006 trip back before version 2 came out.

Yes, you can bring in a LO as a "paper". I have done that, too.

Hey Jessica -- Thanks for another great SBC+ tip! I didn't know you could just drag and drop elements and papers from outside the SBC+ program! My organizational system within SBC+ is becoming somewhat overhwhelmed since I can't seem to control my downloading. What is ACDSee? Have you found it to be effective for organizing your digi stuff?

I like ACDSee a lot. If you google it, you'll find the site and you can download a free trial of it. I am doing Jessica Sprague's class about organizing with ACDSee right now to try and learn how to get the most out of it.

Oh yeah, I have the POP logo that Fran and I made on my blog as a freebie now. Check it out here! http://labdogs42-onmymind.blogspot.com/2008/06/pop-century-freebie.html

hi
not sure yet where to post what.....
but does anyone have any Small World things to share? or know where I can get some fun embellishments? I see the little people on some pages here and there but can't find them to use or even buy.....

thanks friends!!!!
T:surfweb:

they do sell small world stickers at the parks, you may be seeing scans of those stickers on pages. I don't have those stickers or anything doll like i can use in replacement of them, but I do have country Mickey stickers I got at the parks and found them very useful for small world LOs too.
