It is a good thing that I live in the Central time zone. Otherwise, I'd never be able to keep up with you late posters!

I love the pictures with Tink on the shoulder. My kids think I'm nuts because I have become a Disney addict. I spend all year looking forward & planning our next trip. My DH is almost as bad as me so that helps anyway.

The Walt Disney World frame is one of the best gifts that I've ever seen. How very thoughtful to have the pictures already in place. I'm a procrastinator so the frame would be sitting on a shelf waiting for me to pick out the pictures. When my oldest graduated, we had to take the school picture frame down from the wall and put in the last 7 years worth of her school pictures (it had hung there without the new pictures all those years).

Well, I'm off to bed. I feel like I've been looking in on all of your lives for the last month and look forward to possibly becoming part of your lives. You are all a very generous and friendly bunch. Talk to you tomorrow.
:wave2: Hi and welcome!

Well we pretty much figured out you think its romantic since you came back with triplets as well as some christmas decorations :rotfl: Would it be safe to make a return visit!!!

9ft?? We thought our 7ft6er was a beast - it was the tallest we could have as it touches the ceiling :goodvibes

DH and I both would go back to Salzburg in a heartbeat. We spent 2 weeks touring Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for my 30th b'day. I was born in Germany, so I got to see it for the first time (that I remember). It was just such a wonderful trip. We loved every second of it. I think a return visit is now in order!

Why oh why are the DDA always plagued with PC problems?? I just managed to delete everything on my DHs second hard drive... don't ask how long story - but it includes all of our digital photos from our 2003 WDW trip and our kittens and friends weddings...everything except the recent trip which are on my laptop...

I realised what I had done and calmly searched google for a recovery programme... it located all the files and then said I had to pay £35 to retrieve them... now I would usually continue to search until I found something for free - but thought hey my photos are worth far more that £35... at which point it hit me what I had done and I spent the next half an hour in tears!!! :scared1: :badpc: :sad2: :sad1:

The programme seems to be working though - if not very slowly - and fingers crossed there will be enough space on the other hard drive to recover them all to.

I don't need this stress today - I'm too tired from the xmas festivities!

I need some PD to make sure it all comes out ok :sad2:

sending PD your way!

I am in invisible mode -

I find that when people see that I am on - they tend to expect design results pretty quickly - and get a little ansy - so it is easier for me to be invisible - then I don't get pestered

we went to MNSSHP two years ago and all we did was get autographs - I couldn't justify to pay it again this year - we might go in 3 or 4 years in October and do it again - when the kids are more interested in rides than autographs - I think October is so light that it is hard to justify the party for the rides etc - you can ride anything anytime you want - for the parade it is worth it - it just isn't on our list of favorite things

You're like the DDA Stealth Bomber...

Ah gifts......

This year my Dsil went out on Black Friday and bought what he wanted for Christmas and also a gift for the two of them. ( large screen tv/dvd/vcr for the bedroom and a dual screen car dvd player for the Explorer... his gift. :flower:

My daughter bought her gift from him last week. (an 8 gig Creatvie Zen with picture/video screen. Like an Ipod nano, but an MP3 player...

My son spent Christmas evening fixing my computer so it would download to the Mp3 players. They have a 30 day free subscription to Rhaspody.

I bought a McNabb jersey for me from my DGS and Mickey flannel sheets from my DGD. This works out so much better than me depending on them to find what I want... They also got me the Oprah 20th year DVD set I wanted and an Entertainment book, which I love.

I sorta overdid it with the American Girl stuff. This doll has more outfits than I do..... Plus Coconut the dog and the dog carrier. Both hair thingies. Ball gown. Cheerleading outfit, 3 regular outfits. Matching doll and girl pjs. The American Girl suitcase to hold it all.... Two books. An American Doll minature, so the doll can have a doll. Yes, insane. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

And I've Elmoed my DGS to distraction. I have the papers that say we will go to Hershey to see Elmo. Second row! VIP seats. Presales. He should be in heaven, hollering feet don't fail me now!

When DGD went, Elmo came off the stage to touch her hand. Thought she would faint. It was great, The best time.

we just need to make sure DGD sleeps and is read for food by 3:30, so he will be ready for the excitment. Elmo!!!

Maybe by next week, he'll be okay with the Elmo knows your name doll calling his name and that of his sister and Mommy and Daddy. I think it freaked him out..

Bla, blah, blah, it's after 3:00 in the a of the m........

Nitey, nite. I've got to watch the DGD and we're going shopping with tinker1bell.

How's Chuckie Cheese sound for lunch tinker1bell??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll go to Chuck E Cheese. We love that place!

How refreshing to log on and find that I was six pages behind! :rotfl:

Kevin and I don't exchange presents anymore (for any holiday), because we're always saving for our next Disney trip! For Christmas, we do exchange ornaments though and we each buy one for Alyssa too. :goodvibes Next Christmas, we'll have another baby to buy ornaments for too! :goodvibes

Back when we did exchange presents, Kevin did a good job though. (Now really, could I say anything else, since he reads this thread too?!! Just kidding Kevin!) :teeth:

We also give the kids ornaments every year. When my two oldest moved out I gave them their ornaments they had received thru the years. I became their stepmom when they were 6 and 8 so it was a nice collection. They love it!!!

Now my two boys also look forward to putting their ornaments on the tree each year. I also put the year on the ornament somewhere with a black perm marker. This year Alex received "THE BELL" from Polar Express Movie.....and Austin received a pretty ball ornament from the move NARNIA. My husband and I also exchange ornaments. I give him every year a picture ornament with a picture of the kids that I took sometime during the year.

I love traditions!!!

They all were rather quick at our lunch there too. Fairy Godmother was great! We didn't have an autograph page for her (lack of planning on my part) so she went and found a piece of paper and came back later with a sig for each of my kids. She was really sweet. Mary Poppins there was good too.

The rest of them were great. Snow White really talked with the girls there though. And of course, Cinderella :teeth:

Well Christmas morning 3:30 a.m. I wake with a severe ear ache and of course nowhere to go but the ER. I sat in the emergency room for 3 hours and finally got some meds. I have bronchitis and an ear infection. I sure feel for those poor babies with ear problems. I am feeling a little better today. I am still coughing, congested, and my ear feels like it is stopped up and ready to pop but is not painful.

Anyway Christmas was great at our house except for the above. I was a little drugged up as he gave me some Lortab to help with the pain. DH helped me get the rest of the meal together so everything there went good also. Everyone seemed to like everything they got. I got some really neat gifts myself.
Oh no feel better soon. heres some :wizard: :grouphug:

We give Cassidy and Abi ornaments each year also....we usually tie it into what's big in their life that year....Tinkerbelle for Abi this year and a PINK build a bear one for Cassidy. They will have a great collection of memories when they leave home and I can put grown up ornaments back on my tree :cheer2:

Yea - everyone is chatting again!!!! :Pinkbounc

Denise - I think a broken ornament is a perfectly logical reason to return to Germany - are you a German citizen? You said so casually that you were born there!

Amy & Lynn - We do the Christmas Ornament tradition too - this year Julia had to share a tradition at school (I had to go in to talk about it) and we took in our ornaments - I have the ornament I got the year I was bron - of course - it is an  - Julia loves looking at her ornaments each year - they have way more than their age but they do get one special one that realtes to the year - Nick got Buzz and Woody this year - as well as a replacement one from WDW that broke last year in honor of his first trip - I'll give you one guess at who is on Julia's ornament this year

My camera is at my mom's house but I am dying to post my Chirstmas pictures!!! I can't wait to see everyone elses!!

No, my Dad was stationed there in the Army. I had dual citizenship until 18. DH makes fun of me 'cause I can't sing Springstein's Born in the USA~! :rotfl: And I don't remember any of it. We came back to the States when I was 2.
