Deb your pictures make me cold!!! Looks pretty but I don't want that here! We were supposed to have a huge-O storm here today, but it only snowed for a short time & then it rained hard all morning. Not too much snow on the ground now, just cold & windy.

We did lose power this morning while the kids were getting ready for school. They seemed shocked..what, no T.V. before school? I figured they would be better off in school since our heat wasn't working with no electric going. We dropped off all 3 & then DH took me out for breakfast at IHOP (blueberry pancakes..yum). We did some last minute shopping for DS (went to a sporting goods store & DH picked out everything, I don't know who the "best" baseball players are & he does) By the time we had to pick up my little dd the heat & electric was back on...found out that only 37 houses lost power this a.m. due to a transformer blowing out..figures my house was one of them!

I saw the Disney Holiday show last night too..we have been twice for the Christmas holiday & while it is very magical, festive, & fun (also it's my 2 dd's birthdays) We all find it too cold (mostly at night). The 2 times we went the kids were in winter coats & that is not what I go to FL for . that "snow" on main street just pushed me over the edge..even looks cold! Also never got to use the pools.

I think "our" favorite time is now Halloween..loved the MNSSHP so much we will be doing it again next year. Also since we live right outside of NYC I hate to miss all the Christmas stuff going on here..the tree & skating at Rockefeller center, Lord & Taylor's window, radio City Christmas show, hot NYC pretzels, seeing Santa at Macy's.

Just wanted to say to POOHANGEL, I hope all is well & congratulations!!!

Deb love your houses..I collect the Dicken's village from Dept 56 & this is the first year since my littliest one was born that I could put them out.

DeniseTake some cold-eezz..the stuff is good for mommys who can't get sick. Glad Rees is feeling better.

Thanks! She really does love them. I ended up buying a blue autograph book to use for the duplicate visits because she thought the autographs were so much fun. In the picture with the Monsters, you'll notice that my sister is WAY over to the side and Terra is right in the middle. Rachel took the LONGEST possible route to Mike's side so that she didn't get too close to Sulley. Terra just ran right up and hugged Sulley. It was so funny!

Here is what I have for Nicholas' letter. How does it sound?

Dear Nicholas,

You have been very good this year. Since I am sending Alyssa to Disney World, I thought you would like to go too. Here is your Christmas present a little early: a ticket to Disney World. You leave on Saturday. Be sure to take Mommy and Daddy with you. I hope you have fun. Remember, I am watching you. Listen to your mommy and daddy and be nice to your sister. Merry Christmas!

Tammi -- I think BOTH letters sound terrific! When do the kids get their letters from Santa at your company Christmas party? I wish I could be there to see their faces

Yes, Santa will give them the letters at our party. They will be sealed in an envelope, and the MVMCP ticket will also be inside it. Santa will tell them not to open them until they get home. The party is Sunday afternoon so I need to get this stuff done.

I am trying to print out the letter but am having problems. I have a Printmaster program that is so old. I chose a Christmas-y type border and then typed the poem Kate did. But when I print it I get a black text box around each letter. I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

Prayers and PD. I hope this pregnancy goes smoothly.

I'm excited to go at least once in December. Never been to MVMCP, although I was a CM one year and some very nice Guests gave me their souvenier button. We haven't seen the Travel Channel show but will this weekend (Thanks, Tivo!). We watched the Food Network special, though, and it helped me convince DH to plan a trip for next Dec.

Best news of all is that my in-laws watched the Travel Channel show last night and want to go in a few years! They're DVCers too (and we get along VERY well), so I'm excited!

Thanks for asking. He says he is feeling a little better. The soreness is starting to get better and he thinks the vertigo might be slightly better today. He sounds more upbeat on the phone.

That would work for me. We are staying at POFQ, so if you have any graphics for there. Then maybe for Alyssa's you could have a live picture of Cinderella instead of Donald Duck. Nicholas would love Peter Pan if you could manage that. Geez, I feel like a terrible Mommy having someone else design my kids' Christmas stuff and it not being the work of my hand. I will be the one printing it out though. Does that count??

Maybe not such a fancy font, so Nicholas will be able to recognize the letters.

wouldn't you kill to have hair like this? she'll hate it!!

My mom had natural curls and hated it when she was a teenager. She told me she use to iron it with a clothes iron to try and straighten it. Of course, it was the 60's when straight was in. I also love the cape, she just looks beautiful.

Deb -- I'm so glad to hear that your dad is beginning to make a little progress. Here's hoping that he feels much better ASAP.

Kate -- what a beautiful picture -- the dress and cape are just beautiful, but the one inside it is who really shines! If I had a little girl, those are the types of outfits I would have loved to dress her in. Now I get to spoil two nieces, and that's fun too! I wouldn't trade my boys for anything, but I do miss dressing a "pink fluffy."

I know how you feel. I have 4 DS and 2 Dstepsons. Sometimes I just want some pink and lace. But, I love my precious blessings. For now, I just enjoy the pics. of other people's cute little girls. Maybe someday

My Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie designs are for kid aprons. I am having the family over tonight for pizza and cookie making. I am doing to make an apron for DGS Jake (2yr) and DGD Haley (5yr). They are going to love them.
