Kate - I spoke with my boss, whose wife works at the FBI. They are supposed to be opening the FBI back up for tours sometime in '06, and she could get us a private tour, if that would be of interest to anyone. The only prob is that they only tour during the week. Still checking ref. White House connection.

I did make sure Julia's teacher knew I was not pregnant yesterday - she said Julia had told her that her aunt was but not that I was - she had worked on the book with an aide

anyway - when we got home Julia said to me -

Mommy - I didn't tell them you were pregnant - I told them we were riding FIGMENT!! (since Julia has a speech delay - I am guessing this is probably what really happened!!!!) She had told me when I said - why would you say I was pregnant - that I was with her once and I thought that is what happened but looking at the picture - I am pretty sure she was drawing us on Figment!!!! :rotfl:

do you think that I could request in the future that Julia has a Disney obsessed teacher who will understand all of her disney references? :rotfl:

OK - took y'alls advice and ordered my Disney on Ice tickets. Something to look forward to after WDW. Thanks!

:wizard: Poohangel - tonnes of PD :wizard: for a healthy and happy pregnancy - if in doubt about any activity, DO NOTHING and sit quietly!

marcij - :wizard: for the job front for DH

my3princes - love the T-shirts!

:wizard: for the rest of us because its :cold: and we need it!

Anyone else have trouble opening "my pictures?" - just get the "waiting" til I get fed up!

MazdaUK -- I can open your photopost link just fine!

Remember the tea party Julia went to with her Grandma -

my mom and I took these pics of her before she left - this is her Christmas dress and my mom made her the cape

I am so excited... I just shipped the trees and ornaments to WDW this a.m. through UPS. They are supposed to arrive on Tuesday evening so we should have no problem when we get there on Saturday 12/17. :)

Now I just need to find time to pack and wrap and ship all the other gifts to friends and family. Tomorrow I sing at the National Gallery of Art Rotunda in DC so that leaves that day unusable for WDW work. Maybe I can get some done on Sunday while I am designing my recital programs! :)

How's your Dad today?

Thanks for asking. He says he is feeling a little better. The soreness is starting to get better and he thinks the vertigo might be slightly better today. He sounds more upbeat on the phone.

Deb, what colors did they have?

BTW, you Christmas tree shirts are cute! You sure got the crafty gene. I'm glad your dad is doing better, too.

I found navy, light blue, orange, lime green, white and grey. There may have been more, but I can't remember. The sizes were hit or miss. I wonder if it was only at our store? Anyone else have any luck?

I will have to check it out. Our KMart is so dumpy here though.

Kate - those pics of Julia are adorable. Where did you get here dress?

Wait until Brantley-Kate sees Julia! She's going to love her dress. Kate, you have a beautiful little girl.

I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

CONGRADULATIONS. :wizard: so nothing will go wrong.

I got my Christmas village up!! That was a huge acheivement. I'll post pictures later. We have about 6 inches of snow and it is still coming!! We might have a white christmas afterall.

Deb -- I'm so glad to hear that your dad is beginning to make a little progress. Here's hoping that he feels much better ASAP.

Kate -- what a beautiful picture -- the dress and cape are just beautiful, but the one inside it is who really shines! If I had a little girl, those are the types of outfits I would have loved to dress her in. Now I get to spoil two nieces, and that's fun too! I wouldn't trade my boys for anything, but I do miss dressing a "pink fluffy."

I keep forgetting to post this, but since I am on line and remebered at the same time :cool1: ...
My local Kmart had mens t-shirt on clearance. They are marked $3.50. They were in the very back of the Mens section on a rack that I actually had to search out as it wasn't easily seen. Anyway I need shirts for BF so I picked up a couple thinking I would pay the $3.50. When they rang up they were $.70 each. That's right 70 cents each. I went back on Tuesday night and they still had a lot as they are marked $3.50. I bought every color they had in the sizes that we wear. Now if I need to make a special shirt I can just pull one out. I have no idea if other Kmarts have the same deal, but it might be worth checking.

Deb

Some were V-neck, some pocket Ts (the pockets can be easily removed)

I will check this out. A while back our K-mart had the women's shirts marked 3.50 and they rung up at .50 so I bought one in every color. Now I have lots of shirts. My husband asked me just how many disney shirts did I need for an 8 day trip. :rotfl2:
