I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

I have been trying to catch up on the 15+ pages I was behind, but had to stop and post for this.

How wonderful for you and your husband. Congratulations! 2 babies at once, (you and Amy), how lucky can we all be?

Small WAAAHHHHH .... just did my sweatshirts ... and after doing them ... noticed the date was 2006 -- not 2005. :(

DH did make mention of a trip for them ..... (I know it will never really happen though ....)

Congratulations, Angela!! Lots of prayers and pixie dust to follow you through!!

This is a list compiled to help Denise catch up and I'll add a few things :teeth:

Amy :)

Thanks, Amy! Now maybe I won't worry so much about those 200 pages that I may never get read! :)

Thank you to everyone who responded to my questions regarding Alyssa's poor intake of iron/protein. Thanks for the tofu link too, Becky.

With Alyssa, it's just hit or miss. One day she'll inhale spaghetti and meatballs...the next time, she snubs it. She consistently rejects scrambled eggs. She loves cheese, but I try not to give her too much, otherwise we have constipation issues.

I figure with a toddler, it's just a need for patience. :goodvibes

I might go ahead and try a little smooth peanut butter though. We don't have allergies in our family, and I ate it while pregnant and nursing. She's 20 months old now.

Thanks again!

Amy :)

If you find the need to up her cheese intake, try adding ground flax seeds to some of her food. Terra had constipation issues from the day she started with solids until we discovered flax seeds a few months back. I just mash them a little and mix them in with any food that will mix. They don't affect the taste much and really do the trick.

Just a quick break to tell you all things are going well here!

We found a piece of thick plywood in the cellar. :) It's working like a champ!

I've seen the news ... and the weather is NOT looking good! Thank heavens we aren't flying tomorrow. (original plan!)

I just asked DH if we have GAS for the snowblower. He says, I don't think so -- I'll just go out in the morning! I say, "and just HOW to do propose to get to the car!!!!!". Oy I sent him OUT NOW!!!

I'm a little wistful. I bought snowshoes for DS and I would LOVE for him to have a chance to try them out!!! I know we'll have more snow ... but I can't wait for him to try them!

Yes, I asked my Dsil the same question. No gas. I gently explained how the snow blower wouldn't work without it. :) So he went and got some too. And turned it on to make sure it would work. We sure needed it today! My DD was able to snow blow the driveway and get to work. I stayed home with my sick DGD.

Now I'm going to get ready and hit the malls with tinker1bell!! :cheer2:

Just looked at your photopass pictures. What a great time you had. In 12 vivists, I have never seen Donald and Daisy together. Good for you!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks, Steffy! We just got lucky. It was just Donald when we went in to see Sorcerer Mickey. When we came out, Daisy was with him!

Our son was very picky about protein when he was young. Our Dr. recommended Carnation instant milk. DS loved the chocolate flavor. It was pretty high in protein, plus the milk had protein. Worked for us.

You might want to put the name/number of where you're staying locally, but then you won't be able to reuse the tag.

OH MY GOSH!!! Tammi is going to be so excited when she see those!!!

We saw Donald and Daisy together on Mickey Ave at the last silver trailer. Mike and Sulley were also at MGM down the road by the ABC Commissary and Sci-Fi Dine In. There is a "garage" with the Monsters logo and a sign with Roz on it very close to Sci-Fi. They are in that garage off and on. The sign has the times on it. The Incredibles were at MK in Tomorrowland. Across from Stitch were the Timekeeper is/was, there is a small room with several backdrops. We saw Stitch, The Incredibles and Buzz in there along with their own themed backgrounds.
