Can some of you creative folks help me. I am trying to compose a letter to Alyssa from Santa telling her that she is getting to go to WDW. This is what I have.

Dear Alyssa

When you visited me you told me that you wanted a trip to Disney World. Here is your ticket. Be sure to take Nicholas and Mommy and Daddy with you. Have a good time. Remember, I am always watching so you better be a good girl. Listen to your mommy and daddy and play nice with Nicholas.

I also need to compose a similar one to give to Nicholas. The words need to be simple so he can read it, for the most part, himself.

Any suggestions?

hey - if Alyssa didn't get it and she was actually here on game night when Julia broke into her 105 fever - I am doubting that he sent it to Rees!!!

Now if Amy comes on and tells me Alyssa actually did get it - she just didn't tell me so I wouldn't feel absolutely HORRIBLE about it - then we will also accept responsibility for Rees!!!

Nope, Alyssa didn't get sick, so you don't have to take responsibility!

Right before my birthday Julia told me - "Mommy - I need to go on ebay and get you a brithday present!!"


The other night friends called their daughter was bidding on an item but what in bed and they wanted to keep bidding but didn't know how to set up the account - I told them I would bid on it for them - it was currently at $50 - they were willing to go as high as needed -

while watching the item - I found it in a Buy it Now auction for $45 - they were ecstatic when their $50 got outbid and they go it for $45!!

Here is what I have for Nicholas' letter. How does it sound?

Dear Nicholas,

You have been very good this year. Since I am sending Alyssa to Disney World, I thought you would like to go too. Here is your Christmas present a little early: a ticket to Disney World. You leave on Saturday. Be sure to take Mommy and Daddy with you. I hope you have fun. Remember, I am watching you. Listen to your mommy and daddy and be nice to your sister. Merry Christmas!

Remember the tea party Julia went to with her Grandma -

my mom and I took these pics of her before she left - this is her Christmas dress and my mom made her the cape

wouldn't you kill to have hair like this? she'll hate it!!

Again I must say Julia is beautiful. I am sure you hear this quite often. My niece 17 has hair like that and she does hate it. She uses some thingy that straightens it out. She just don't realize how pretty it truly is.

We are trying to plan a DDA meet this summer = almost definitely in DC (july 14-16)- maybe in Atlanta too!

Kate has some wacky idea for a live delivery room thread (not gonna happen! )

Deb's dad was in a bad accident but thank God walked away from it

Rosiejo is home

Brenda is moving to atlanta

We got a new board - Baloo is our moderator

We started a birthday sticky

Lots of recipes shared

Lots of christmas and snow pictures shared

Pixie dust for everyone's upcoming trips...lots of people are in single digits!!

Marti and Kate are talking a lot of people into joining DVC

Jennifer had computer problems right before finals, Kate tried to help (that took up a lot of pages. We were all so concerned), she finally took it to the Apple guys and they were able to fix the problem and save all the data. She left again for another residency trip

Some people want snow, others of us have had ENOUGH of it

Kate went on an oreo eating binge and wishes she could get us all Diet Coke ornaments for her tree

Brenda's dishwasher caught fire, but all is okay

Baloo is looking for Ebay/Paypal advice

Steffy is determined to get caught up on this thread

Julia's teachers think Kate is pregnant because Julia drew a picture at school

Denise is home...had a fantastic trip, but unfortunately, Rees is sick and Denise isn't feeling well either

Yesterday, there was actually lots of talk of t-shirts!!!

Poohangel, I read your news and a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to you!!! Much and prayers that everything goes well for you.

Anyone know where the recipes are? I love baking and I'm always looking for new recipes. I have my favorites that I make every year and I'll start my big baking next week.

I think I've found all of the Christmas pics posted and they all look beautiful! I love your house, Tammie. I'll post pics of ours when I finish decorating. It took us all evening Sunday to figure out how to plug the lights in (on the tree) without tripping the breaker (or whatever it's called). We had to run 5 extension cords up the tree and then plug into a surge protector. I just can't use an outlet in that room to vacuum if the tree is on I also started painting the family room last Saturday. I'm almost finished with that.

The DDA meet(s) sound like fun!
