Happy Monday everyone, another week is starting so we are a week closer to our cruise!!
I removed another link from my countdown chain. It's getting pretty short now


Question of the day:

What part of the Dream to you think you will enjoy the most?
Example : A specific restaurant, a pool or hot tub, shows, adult only areas, theater, clubs etc...



My answer:

I love relaxing on deck 4 (jogging deck) its so quiet and peaceful there with a great ocean view and comfy loungers. Of course shuffle board is there so there is a little noise if someone is playing. its a great place to destress from life.

I always enjoy seeing all the door signs as I walk around the ship delivering FE gifts.

I told myself that I was going to run it with DW but I haven't started training for it yet. Guess I better get on the treadmill tonight...

No run for this grandma!!!

We always rent bikes and ride the 2 bike paths and stop at the Observation tower for a view of the island and to see the whimsical storks around it, that can only be seen if you climb the tower.
My joints do well on a bike but not trying to run or walk quickly. Hubby use to run marathons and 5K and 10 K runs all the time until he hurt his knee. Or he would be joining you!!

I am so happy to see others will be making door signs too.

I love looking at everyones doors.

I see lots of them while delivering FE gifts, but sometimes we have just started at one end of the ship and walk around the entire loop to see all the signs. We have done that to all the decks before on the Magic and Wonder.
Some people are just so creative!!!

I have 3 for the trip and a speical one for the last day on board.

The Castaway Cay 5k is run each time a Disney ship docks at Castaway Cay. It's an informal race; you meet in one of the bars about 9:00 AM (check the navigator for exact time and place) and everyone participating goes down to the island together. You get a number bib and there is a time clock. Everyone gets a medal for completing (regardless of your time). There is no cost for the event.

I've never done it, but I have been reading a bit about it over the past couple of weeks and I just need to have someone kick me in the butt to get started on training. With 3 weeks and 5 days till race day, I think I can still get trained for it.

I don't run, but my daughter really wanted to do this. She just ran her first 5K in 32m 36s (so proud of her). But I have found out they are supposed to be 12 or older and she is only 10

Thats a good reason to rebook onboard for 2 years from now!!

You pick a dummy date as far out as you can, then in a few months when they post the 2015 schedule you can change the date. You still maintain the discount and on board credit.

I make new ones and put them each time. I save them and put in the scrapbook I make of the cruise.
